As I have said before, the acceptance of (and, in fact, encouragement for) violent resolution of interpersonal disputes by so many otherwise reasonable people is always both shocking and disappointing to me.

Re: Around the NFL Week 9

Surprising, Asomugha was highly paid and overrated a few years ago. Now he's a washed up 32yr old free agent. Even with the 27th rated passing defense, we probably don't need him, we've done decently over the past two games and have some youth getting experience..

Sign him just to have Kerry Washington nearby.

@RapSheet

The #Packers are promoting QB Scott Tolzien to the 53-man roster, per source. Just gave him a raise on practice squad last week.

Guess the Packers decided not to go back to Vince Young. Can't say I'm surprised.

Man Arrested for Tasering Wife, Per Terms of Their Monday Night Football Bet | Extra Mustard - SI.com

Quote:
The wife said that while the two were smoking cigarettes outside of Sidelines, Grant had used the stun gun twice on her butt and once on her thigh. Grant said that the two had made a bet on the game as she is a Packers fan and he a Bears fan that if the Packers lost, she would be shocked with the stun gun.
I may sound like a broken record, but mental health is a very serious issue in the states.

It's not surprising. Rodgers is expected to return after several weeks, from what I've read. This means that by the time Young got up to speed with the offense, it would be time for him to again leave.

Re: Around the NFL Week 9

Holy smokes. If the coaches wanted help in making Martin tougher, there wasn't a more responsible choice than Incognito?

What, threatening to shit in your mouth wouldn't toughen you up?

If it turns out the coaches turned Richie loose on Martin, yeah this is gonna end bad for a lot of people.
