Re: Must-Read Article on GW and the Defense
CB? How about Darrell Green? Dexter Manley probably forgot that #28 isn't playing any longer and said that was a current player out of habit.

I didn't notice he quoted the article word for word. Maybe he's just a speed reader with a photographic memory

Re: Must-Read Article on GW and the Defense
I saw Springs' post game comments. He sounds like he's innocent, but he's as slick as snake sh-t. The man is a smooth operator who loves to speak his mind.
Rogers and Taylor are too dense to describe the situation in the article in the fashion it was disclosed. It could be AA especially do to the detail pertaining to his desires to go to Chicago and how he was promised he would be blitzing and playing in the box more. I hope it was Springs and he should be given a medal for doing it.

Re: Must-Read Article on GW and the Defense
I think this is a lesson in the classic art of deception. All the article had to say was starter on the D to get everyone looking that way, when it was really on the other side of the ball. Who knows maybe it was Lavar and the other stuff got in there to give it creditability so it didn’t look like a Lavar was getting revenge.

Re: Must-Read Article on GW and the Defense
When did Springs quote the article "word for word"? In his post game interview, it was clear he had read it. I get the feeling, however, that this article got passed around and was the subject of considerable discussion before the game.

The player should just shut up and play ball like they did yesterday.
