No doubt. I don't really look much at post counts (quality over quantity), but I happened to glance over a few mins ago and saw 399....

Most of the time I feel I provide intelligent responses, and a very level head.
When I'm drinking or smoking, I just enjoy the communication with others.
I need to live it up while I'm still on vacation.

Re: The talk about anything cuz your up real late and tired of draft talk thread.

Anyway jsarno, to answer your question, I manage a sports bar here in Gainesville called the Sloppy Gator. It's a cool place, and the owners are good people. I was in the restaurant industry the entire time I was in college, and I've been in it ever since I graduated, so I am ready for a change. My girlfriend of 4 years and I are moving back to the DC (Gaithersburg, MD) area in July. That's where all my closest friends and family live. My best friend is branch manager of a mortgage broking company, and I'll be working with him. It's a new industry to me, so I'm looking forward to the challenge. My girlfriend is a personal trainer, and she will be starting her Master's degree at George Mason in August. Should be good times. And I get to go to EIGHT skins games this year!

It seems like people in that business for an extended period of time, tend to want to stay in that business. If you enjoyed your owners and restaurant, I'd be leary of moving, but understand the part about family and friends. Without family and friends, what do you have?

I hear that's a great university. What is she getting her masters in?

That is just plain wrong. I have NEVER been to a Skins home game...only away games.

Re: The talk about anything cuz your up real late and tired of draft talk thread.

I'm not really worried about leaving my current job. There are so many restaurants and bars in the DC area. If the mortgage broker thing doesn't work out, I can always find a job in the restaurant industry. I just NEED to branch out and try something new.

George Mason is a pretty good school from what I've heard. My friend's wife went there and liked it very much. My girlfriend's Masters is something in the Health & Exercise Science field. The actual name of the degree is like 10 words long, I forget exactly what it is and she's working right now so I can't ask her.

Yeah, I'm pretty lucky to be able to go to the Skins games. My dad has two season tix, and he only goes to 4-5 of the games. He's letting me have at least one of the tickets for every game. I CAN'T WAIT! I've been living in Florida for 7 years now, and have only been to 2 Skins games over that span. We better be good!!:thumb:

I can understand that. Good luck to you. I can tell you, you are entering an ENTIRELY different world. If you are good at adaptation, you'll be fine.

Cool. My one tidbit of advice is, if your going to go after it, go after it with all you got. It's better to just put your head down and get it done. Let nothing stop you.

I had season tickets to the Red Sox for years...then when I left I gave them to my brother with the understanding that when I'm in town, I get the tickets for my own use, no questions asked.
I really feel we are heading for a rebound. It seems like when people count us out, the SKins pull through. When we had 10 wins a couple years ago, everyone said we would win 4 or 5 games max. Last year they said we would win the division if not, we would at least make the playoffs...and we sucked. So hopefully everyone will write us off again this year, and to this point I have heard of no one that is giving us a chance. PERFECT.

Well, hooskins put a ban on us talking on this til after ten. Talk to you later. haha.
