We should not forget that Eli's contract is a long one and wages go up every year. By the end of the deal Eli likely will not be close to being the best-paid qb because other contracts will have surpassed his by then.

Thought I'd re-visit this thread. Although he is not out-performing Eli, Snyder probably will give him a bigger contract because Snyder is really smart and needs to hold onto his assets.
