Kinda so so on Barkley
Intrigued by RG III, spending a lot of time at his games
Comfortable with Landry Jones
Love Ryan Tannehill
I would be pissed if we drafted Tannenhill and passed on Barkley and RGIII

I doubt Barkley and RGIII would be on the board when it is our turn to pick. That being said, I'd hate to have a top pick QB not work out b/c he doesn't fit Shanny's system.

Re: 2012 QB Prospects (Part 2)

I really hope we pick up RG3, i feel he is going to be a franchise type quarterback. If we suck enough the rest of the year and get a top 6 pick, i think trading down and picking up another draft pick is a very realistic option.

btw, I really think that Dwight Jones from north carolina is going to be a ridiculous talent in the NFL. If we could pair RG3 up with this guy, my god would I be happy. Watching Jones catch the ball is a thing of beauty, very underrated IMO. He doesnt get enough targets, and if he did, he would be putting up obscene numbers. Just watch this guy play........he is going to be ridiculous.

Re: 2012 QB Prospects (Part 2)

I just got through watching tapes of Barkley of USC. Never really watched him play, as some USC talent is overhyped just because they are at USC, kinda like Ohio state talent.

After watching the tape (about 20 minutes worth of highlights), this guy is absolutely who we need to draft. If there is any way we can get him, we need to make it happen. He brings it all to the table, and i couldnt believe the touch and zing he puts on passes while the pocket around him disintegrates. Great poise, decision making and accuracy. Surefire top 5 pick, surefire NFL star.

Re: 2012 QB Prospects (Part 2)

I mentioned this before I think, we had Foles (along with Barkley and a few others) on the ESPN campus a year or two ago and they did all these drills on our football field. Foles was outstanding. But the QB he is on game day doesn't seem to be that same guy

Again smootsmack, the people where you get your information from, about how often % wise, do they tell you a skins rumor and it is actually correct?

percentage wise? I don't know. I mean I don't ever write anything here unless I'm comfortable enough that it could be legit. Only the mods get access to the more outlandish rumors.

But anyway, I think most people here would tell you my info is generally pretty legit: I have "broken" a lot of stuff here. By the same token, I've been wrong. Whether it's because the info I got was wrong, or circumstances changed things. I'm not 100% accurate, even the best aren't

That said, with Allen and Shanahan it is much much harder to figure their plans out than previous regimes

OT Jonathan Martin? Stanford OG David DeCastro is also highly rated.

ill be pissed if we go defense in round 1, especially mlb. burfict will be good but we have way more pertinent needs than mlb in round 1. if we dont go qb, id hope we'd go either wide receiver or offensive line.

I want luck Idc what we have to do to get to 1st. I'd trade next years 1st and 2nd if we had to.

I would not give that up, IMO Barkley will be just as good as Luck. Luck is just more athletic. I say stay where we end up. If Barkley or RGIII falls to us pull the trigger, if not, Mo Claiborne or Trent Richardson would look good in a Skins jersey.

Would Trent fit the scheme though? I think Helu is our featured guy for 3-4 years now.

I don't see why he wouldn't and I love Helu but teams do need 2 RBs in their rotation.
