Re: Redskins 27 Eagles 20 post game thread

CBS has the #5 Seahawks playing the #4 Redskins if they were to start the playoffs right now. Although tough I like our chances in our home vs at their stadium. Plus they have been trying to incorporate the option read which our defense has been seeing all season from our own oftenest.

I'll be the first to say I hope the Skins go all the way, but right now our season has to be considered a success. Our record is better, the oftenest is putting almost 30 points up every game, and no the defense is not perfect but since incorporating more of the 4/3 the defense has been holding their own pretty well.

I think I said the team would be 8-8, since I was tired of getting burned for my 9-7 or 10-6 I usually say every year. However at work me and a co-worker broke down the season and I did have us 9-7 or 10-6 and with a ton of luck playiffs. This record is sweet.

When did the Redskins defensive coaches ever play the 4-3? Or maybe you mean the hybrid 4-3 with Jenkins and Cofield as NTs with Jackson and Kerrigan on the ends standing up.

Am I the only one who isn't even considering a loss to Dallas? I think the stadium is going to be louder than its ever been. Fans will be chanting we want Dallas a half hour before the game starts. I see Dallas going 3 and out on their first series with two false start penalties and a sack or interception. And I think it goes downhill for them from there. I think we will dominate this game from start to finish.

I really hope to see a sea of burgundy for this game -- it is really shameful to see so many opposing fans when they visit Fedex.

You are not the only one. This is the best feeling going into a game that I have had all year. I expect domination. I think the Pukes go home with their tails between their legs.

That's also because we haven't been any good so I don't blame fans for not wanting to go but now things have changed. Basically get used to seeing the skins in the playoffs for a while.

Haha I hope so -- let's get in first though. No point counting chickens before they're hatched.

Add Tim Hasslebeck to the list, picking Cowboys to win next week.

What is wrong with Ware? I'm one of the few fools who predicted a 10-6 record and making the playoffs, I hope I'm right. I also had doubts when we were 3-6.

Let the naysayers say what they will. They haven't learned yet.

People love to ride the Cowboys jock. I like it better like that. This team plays better as underdogs.

It's happened every week except for this past week against the Eagles.
