Re: Cowboys at Redskins Post Game Thread
I went for Hall. I've been a critic of his, but he played lights out last night. In fact, all our corners played well. Crawford gave up one, but overall Hall, Wilson, and Crawford all did a great job.
Morris was amazing, but Hall was the biggest 'surprise' to me.

They all had wonderful games. But I still think that major changes are coming to this entire secondary in the offseason.

Re: Cowboys at Redskins Post Game Thread
It really wouldn't surprise me, but even if we stay put. If we get Jackson back and Merriweather healthy, I think that group looks better. Crawford got some reps. I like the prospect of Chase Minnifield (SP?). I have changed my tune, our top need this offseason is RT followed by DB. I don't want to see this defense make too many massive changes. Keep bringing in young depth.

Re: Cowboys at Redskins Post Game Thread
Goddamn winning feels good.
Been a 'Skins fan since I was born in 1975. So many of the last twenty years, bleedin' burgundy and gold, wearing my colors when all the other teams in the NFCE were relevant and we were always dysfunctionally dead last and even that upstart in B-More was consistently making more waves and in contention talks. I honestly had forgotten what this feels like. SOOOO much pleasure was taken today in wearing my colors to work and not even having to say anything to all the butthurt Cowpokes fans, just knowing they was mad LLS. On my Facebook feed, I said after the Ravens win that the 'Skins were going to run the table and that whoever won the NFCE was going to the Superbowl, and I got figuratively laughed outta my feed by all the hatters. I'm the only one laughing now, and I honestly feel like I have been underplaying what we have going on here because of the Hangover of the Decades of Suck. We are going to run the table in the playoffs, gentlemen. Everything Robert brought to Baylor he has brought to us. He's fearless. He's special. We are lucky to have him as a 'Skin, 'cause he and the team he leads and infects with that specialness are gonna be an absolute terror in the NFL. Robert's going to get his first Superbowl appearance in his rookie year, and he's going to meet Andrew Luck there and we are going to have the first rookie QB Superbowl meeting in the history of the NFL. Hail to the Redskins. That is all I have to say. Last edited by ashvirtually; 12-31-2012 at 06:44 PM. |

Re: Cowboys at Redskins Post Game Thread
PS -- Did Collinsworth piss anyone else off with his constant Cowboy chatter? At the end when he said "You gotta give Romo another shot here!" I just didnt get it... Come on man!

Yep, watched with JR and his wife, we all had various ways of expressing how sickening his slobberfest for Romo and Dez was.

CC looked deflated when they went back to him and Al for the final time. You'd thought he was out there playing and lost that heart breaker himself. Guess he had money riding on the game?....lol

Re: Cowboys at Redskins Post Game Thread
Wait wait wait. You're telling me that not only are we the NFC East Champs and the Giants are going golfing, and possibly the best coach in the NFC East got fired today, but Not One Redskin Victory is going to possibly come back and take a major coaching position with Dallas? DOES THIS DAY GET ANY BETTER?!?!?!?!?!?
