Pat Kirwan reports from the skins TC this morning, i couldnt listen to the audio bc i am at work.

* as a bonus, after the skins video plays, it goes to the next video which shows the bennett and fuller incident.

it wasnt anything you dont see in TC any day of the week. Bennett must be rubbing the coaching staff and FO wrong.
I liked Kirwan from when I had Sirius NFL radio, and think he's pretty spot on here, I just have faith that Griffin will in fact bounce back.

Per Pat Kirwin in this article: "Outlook: The Redskins will rebound to at least 8-8, but to squeeze out the more wins to reach 10-6 and challenge for the NFC East title, they need Griffin to be great. I see the Redskins as wild-card contenders with an outside chance to win the division. A 9-7 record is attainable."

Great minds think alike.

Sounds realistic to me. But to me Griffin doesn't need to be great. With weapons like Reed and DJax all he has to do is be smart and distribute the ball, and a healthy dose of AlfMo.

Sounds like Ryan Grant impressed again today. Give this guy a few more years to add strength and he could be a really good receiver.

Sounds like he's had a good camp so far. Runs good routes.

5 Garcon, Djax, Roberts, Grant, robinson

Maybe 6 with Moss but I think they use the spot elsewhere

Re: Set it all aside -- Training Camp Begins

From Tuesday's practice, the report from the Boston Globe reporter. It's always good to get some views different than the local guys who see the team everyday and the national guys (not counting those who came to camp) who just sit on TV and talk in generalities.

Patriots practice report - Sports - The Boston Globe

Mixed bag but pretty much what should be expected. Doesn't sound like we are on their level but didn't embarrass ourselves either. So ready for games to start.

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

He really doesn't have to be great, but he might not really want to hear that. Granted this is a very small issue right now, I just don't like to see the coach and QB on a different page.

Apparently Gruden would like to see RG throw the ball away more often in practice, instead of scrambling. However RG took the Iverson approach and said he'll throw it away in games, but it's just practice, and he'd rather practice his scrambling drill. Like I said, still not a huge issue, but I'd really like to see and hear my 3rd year QB more open to what his head coach has to say.

Also mentioned it in the Boston Globe article linked in the post above:

■ RG3 did OK in the hurry-up offense, but refused to throw the ball away, which will be interesting to watch with him this year. He had a few nice scrambles to the outside and made some nice improvisational plays. He loves looking to Reed in the Red Zone.

Sounds like DJax may have sprained his left ankle.

The injury bug comes every year to every team. All sound minor.
