Playoff hunt!

We have had more than our fair chance of getting into the playoffs. Finally, this season things broke our way when we needed them the most. So, if we lose, I don't want to hear even a hint of an excuse from any player or coach.

This is it! In or out; that's all there is to it. We're about to find out what kind of football players and coaches we have on this team.

I'll tell you something, in the end we were better off having to root for the Cowboys than the Lions. When you're playoffs hopes rest on the Detroit Lions winning a meaningful game, well, that can be a very stressful ordeal.

The Giants are favored by 8 points! That is a lot. Very strange: on the road, meaningless game, some starters might not play, do or die for the other team. Vegas must not like us at all.

I saw somewhere where it had the skins favored.. I'll have to find it. Either way we beat them before at full strength. They will most likely not play Manning and Odell much at all.

There is a reason why the NFL scheduling changed over the last several years. Recall the days when the last 2-3 games of the regular season were against out-of-conference opponents when playoff positions were already locked up. Lots of folks poo-pooing that because teams would not play their starters in those games.

Now they purposely schedule division games at seasons end.

Why?

Kirk is playing for a contract that's a big one
It's a home game and practically a playoff game
The Giants have no reason to risk their starters I would pill Eli an O'Dell after one series

guys..We have no D at all..we have had to pull twice for the cowboys just to be in a position to play for a spot..all because we could not beat cincy and carolina..both bad teams. there is not a team that we will face in the playoffs that we would be able to beat..vegas has it right we are 7 to 10 point underdogs against anybody here on out. I am hoping ,wishing etc but not gonna get to hyped up..not even sure we get in. Giants don't want to lose 2 going into playoffs..think about it ..we are hoping the G men sit there starters?? if we are a true playoff team then why should it matter. I will say this for sure WITHOUT COUSINS we don't win 5 games this year..Pay the man and lets beef up the D ..all this talk of playoffs and what can and could happen is little pie in the sky ..we may back in but will get kicked out quick..I hope I am wrong ...

You forgot we also couldn't stop the sorry Lions from driving the field with less than a minute to go.

We are gonna lose our way out of the playoffs this week.

Yet we beat GB and Baltimore, that's why you play the games. Anything can happen on any given Sunday. Call me delusional, but I think our D will be better with Cravens playing S and having Lynden Trail instead of Houston Bates as our 4th pass rusher, he adds length and athletism to the mix.
