Anyone know what Holcomb got from Pitt? I wonder what it would have taken to re-sign him. He generally played pretty well for us.

Additional details on the deal. Brissett is a massive upgrade over TH:

The Washington #Commanders are signing QB Jacoby Brissett to a one-year deal worth up to $10 million and $8 million guaranteed, per source. Washington gets a starting option for a quarterback who played well for Cleveland last year.

This is good. Like you said an upgrade at QB for same price as TH is getting

How is this an upgrade? Heinicke had slightly better stats over the last two years, played a harder schedule and had a lot more success in the win/loss column. Additionally, they cost about the same when it comes to a contract. I just don't get the idea that Brisset is an upgrade. At best I see it as a wash (Heinicke's stats were only very slightly better) and that is at best, it's more likely a down grade.
