You wouldnt be saying anything if those passes were completed.

Yes, I would. The reason our first half was so effective was because we had a balanced attack: run, run, run, run, deep pass. There is a reason that works, and that's why Gibbs is such a good coach. It seemed like Gibbs coached the first quarter and then gave the reigns over to Al and said, "Here, see what you can do." The cute stuff isn't for us. Atlanta saw right through our passing schemes and just all out rushed Campbell. We know what we are good at, why move away from it?

Only negative I see with Campbell, is that he drops wayyy to far, and of course his windup takes alot of time.

I am sure they will tinker with that in the off season. They did not like Philip Rivers delivery either, but no one is complaining in SD now.

Re: Falcons at Redskins game thread 12/3/06

We shouldnt do PA passes anymore, bc our line cannot holdup. We need the TE blocking.

I think ATL realizes that they just needa pressure JC. If the line doesnt hold up, then he is screwed.

well if we would have kept running it we might have scored and the falcons might not have gotten the ball back as soon as they did.

Re: Falcons at Redskins game thread 12/3/06

Terrible 2nd quarter. Come out in the third and pund it down for a TD and were all gravy. Come out STRONG at half.
