So you bring your safeties up for run support opening up a play action pass and isolating your CBs. The skins CBs are good so I would bring the play-action. I know there is a lot more to the situation but again run defense BEGINS at the line and if were asked the question are the Dolphins D-line good enough to stop the run. I would say absolutely. I don’t know how good your D-line is. Is it good enough to hold Brown below 4 YPC?
Prediction
Dolphins 12
Redskins 9
wait a minute, our dline may not be the dolphins dline but your oline is not on the same planet as our oline.....so yes we can hold ronnie brown to 4 yards because we can out play your oline. besides taylor our dlines are very comparable. you better hope joey porter is worth every penny he signed for. your secondary is extremely suspect, you dont even go one deep at corner so expect us to spread it out to run and pass...plus i mean we posted numbers on the jags last year whose dline is better than yours. we had no problem with them and santana moss will have a huge day. i love me some will allen

Re: Redskins vs. Dolphins predictions

Skins WIN 27-13

The Skins will have good field position almost all game due to excellent play from special teams. The Offense will come out strong and JC will end the first drive with a TD Pass.

Our D will shut the fins down pretty much completely for the first quarter, and by the 2nd quarter we'll be up 14-3, after CP runs one in on a 20+ yd TD run.

Then in the second and 3rd we'll sputter a bit, but due to the aforementioned good field position Suisham will get into range for a couple 40+ yd field goals. During this time the fins will pick it up on offense a bit scoring a TD and another field goal, and we'll go into the 4th up 20-13.

Late in the game the D will create a crucial TO, leading to a long game ending TD drive by Campbell, with the D holding on for the win with the Final score 27-13.

You would. You just agreed to the fact that regardless of what kinda of fan you are, there are always a good amount of dumb homer fans. So logically the only thing that we would gain on this site from other fans would be another perspective, which is welcomed in my opinion.

Um... WHAT?!? Ronnie Brown isnt to that elite level yet... but he is on his way. Behind one of the worst offensive lines in the league, he has averaged 4.3 ypc. He has barely even been used in the 2 years he has been in the league... but produces every time he touches the ball. Not to mention, he is one of the best blocking RBs in the league, and has fantastic hands... better than a lot of WRs. He definatly has the best hands on our team...

He comes from all over. Technically, he is the ROLB/RDE that will come from your weak side (offense's left blind side). However, we move him all over the place. Bring him off the right edge with his hand on the ground, off the left edge while standing, blitz right up the middle, drop him into coverage... he does it all. He plays the "Jack" position... which is called that because it is basically the position of a jack of all trades.

We shall see this weekend. Good luck with your season (except this week) and especially against the other AFC East teams.

What is that saying about your WR corp? If you cant be balanced its not gonna matter how many YPC RB averaged last year.

Not to mention the Dolphins didn't do anything to help that core this year. Didn't they lose Randy McMicheal and Wes Welker. I know Wes Welker isn't even that good, but the Phins need all they can get there.

Re: Redskins vs. Dolphins predictions

That guy is going to get murdered. He shouldn't have been a first round pick. The would have been better off going with someone like Dwayne Jarret or Dwayne Bowe. Yet they pick a guy who has only speed in his arsenal. I know I might get a Santana Moss comparison, but this guy is too small and is what you would call a "route running god". Wasted pick, this guy could wait until the 4th round IMO.
