Bills tender a couple of players, including Posluszny

Buffalo Bills tender contracts to Donte Whitner, Paul Posluszny, Scott Chandler - ESPN

So is this last year all over again? As in a lot of young FAs being tendered? I know things will change whenever they have a new CBA in place (meaning never) but still.

Very good character guy and I personally would love for us to bring him in, I am just not sure how he can help us on the field all that much. In the last few years he has been more of a return guy and we already have that in B.B.

I don't see how the guy can help at all, he missed all of last season and is basically a ARE type player.

I agree. The real reason I would like to see him as a Redskin is that I grew up nextdoor to him and he was one of my friends growing up and played with him in HighSchool. Kinda selfish but it would be cool.

Also excuse my ignorance but what is an ARE type player? I have tried almost every acronym I can think of and nothing works.
