The fact that Tripplett is still calling NFL games is a travesty.

Wow, so Helu is the FIRST RB in skins' history to have three straight 100 yard games? Damn.

I beleive he is the first Rookie to set a team record for that. If I am not mistaken, I believe Ladell Betts in 2006 set a RB record for us by having something like 5 or 6 straight 100 yard games.

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots Game Day Thread

I'm pretty sure the Patriots will score every time they have the ball for the rest of the day...

40+ easy.

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots Game Day Thread

Such a hugely improved defense...

They are soooo great. What a joke of a defense.... on BOTH sides.

Yes he did. I just looked it up on Pro Football Reference. I am also pretty sure that Betts has the redskins record for having 6 straight 100 yard games...i will check that now.

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots Game Day Thread

yeah, i think this game says a whole lot more about the state of the Pat's D than it does about the Skins' O.

What pisses me off is that everyone is going to give Brady and the Patriots all of the credit for our Pee Wee level defense today..

No one EVER wants to talk about how truly weak our defense is... they refuse to let us win games most weeks.

Don't worry... I know I'm alone on this one. I'm just sick of them....

ZERO turnovers and they NEVER hold when we need it most.

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots Game Day Thread

Brady may have 500+ yards today when it's all over.
