I wonder who that person is he's talking about. And Jeff Saturday? That's interesting.

I left Bram a message to see if I can find out some more

Saturday I have no idea about so I can't speak to that. As for Manning, IF it happens, it only happens if he's released and will not stop them from getting a QB in the draft.

Thats makes much more sense than any type of trade for Saturday or Manning. That would make zero sense and simply would be retarded. Might as well over pay Reggie Wayne and get Edgerin James' number. If its any trade for a QB it should be to move up and take one of the prospects.....................or a 3rd for Hoyer. Bottom line is we need to draft a QB, maybe multiple QBs.

I agree if they trade for manning, but if he comes as FA then I am fine as long as he is heathly and we draft a QB to develop behind him. Right now we have to look at all options,if we can't trade up or think the price is too steep for either luck or griffin.

Manning? Healthy? You kiddin' me? It won't matter. Manning wouldn't last behind the Skins OL.

Exactly. This is Manning thinking about playing for the redksins:

its a joke to him, he'd never want to play here

Lets get this straight Peyton makes his O-Line better. He is a coach on the field and he knows how to read defenses. He would knows where the blitz is going to come from at presnap. He would make our O-line much better and the entire offense would be more productive. Only concern is if he is healthy to play at least 3-4 years until we groom our QB of the future. If we get Manning dont worry about the O-Line they will love him under center.

No thanks, don't need an old man with a rubber arm taking snaps in DC.

If the colts trade him they will take a big cap hit they owe a crap load of a bonus. Manning holds the cards in this battle. I also said if healthy and we would have to explore every option if we can't get one of the two stud QBs in draft. I like this option over paying Flynn a crap load for a unproven guy or trading for a Hoyer.

I agree with exploring every option and I wouldnt overpay Flynn either, but if Manning showed at Redskins Park to sign a contract, someone there should do the responsible thing and call an ambulance to have Peyton admitted to the nearest Psych ward for an thorough valuation.

I'm sure a lot of these rumors are smoke screens, I just think we are in tough spot in the draft to get Griffin, so we almost will have to sign FA who can start in case we can't move up or if he doesn't fall. Big problem not many FA QBs that most Skins would be happy with. Worst case scenario I see happening is we don't get a QB in FA who is capable and we can't move up and are forced to reach on QB who isn't ready to play.
