Per Marvez, Winston underwent arthroscopic ankle surgery in February. He anticipates receiving full medical clearance in two weeks, and has already begun scheduling visits.

Winston visited the Dolphins on Tuesday night.

Florio has reported that Winston also plans to visit the St. Louis Rams and Kansas City Chiefs.

Are the Redskins better with or without Eddie Royal? He's a good return man on special teams, but so is Brandon Banks. I think this year Banks will pull a Devin Hester and be the most dangerous return man in the NFL. He certainly has the potential. Ah, there goes that word again. Potential. Banks has proven that he can take a punt returns and kickoff returns to the house. If the Redskins release him, New England, Cincinnati, or an NFC rival will sign him immediately.

Royal is the better overall player by far.

Unfortunately I do not think BB is on our team this year at the very least and it is very possible his NFL career is over after his lack luster two regular seasons.

Royal fills 2 needs a good slot guy, and a good return man. Avg. 16.2 return yards.

banks is not good. he has good plays, but there wasn't much use in having him on the roster last year.

I love Banks but he's a one trick pony. He's too small to use on offense all day and he only makes maybe 1 to 3 really great runs a year. Royal or Robertson can fill his roll and play WR.

And there is not a chance he could "pull a Devin hester" Hester is a one of a kind talent.
