Another rookie was Brandon Jenkins on the rush that helped collaspe the line on Kerrigan's sack...I tell ya quiet play, big time potential.

The Bad: First, Im worried about our Oline depth...McRib, Pashos werent good at all. Compton was meh. Big plays giving up on defense, not cool, but im not worried. Special teams coverage was really bad, but just first game need to improve.
very good summary! S is a big concern, I agree our young corners should be OK.

Yeah defense didn't look very good but they also didn't show much either. Rambo got his ankles broke by CJ. Dude still has it

Why is everyone talking about Rambo being beat one on one in wide open space and not how Orakpo completely messed up?

Thomas got washed up. Orakpo went up field and was too wide, Rambo took a bad angle and missed an open field tackle. All three of those things on one play=58 yard touchdown

and lets not forget that this was the rookies first live game action, so the first time the really seen live game speed . . . they should all start taking better angles once they get used to the speed of the game . . . veterans too as while they have been there before, they haven't tackled at all until last night . . .

Both Rak and Fletcher were way out of position. Run D was pretty bad last night. Actually, it was also bad against Seattle in the playoff game as well. Could be a problem this year.

Yeah, but Rambo is supposed to be the last man standing, but Orakpo failed to contain. He took too wide a angle on that play.

What I noticed.... the Titans had a hard time running up the middle and basically ran outside most of the night.

Well then hopefully what your saying is both will be off the team and some no name Rookie will be on the PS.

Rex looked bad last night. bad against second stringers.

Rex got no help from the Oline, and I didnt think it was that bad. It was 3rd string QBing...what do you expect?

Cousins said in an interview, Rex has had a huge impact in his development and alot of his early success is directly attributed to Rex being there and showing both him and RG3 Kyle's system and how to carry themself.

Need people like that on the roster.

So now we make excuses for Rex as to why he looks bad but PW... not allowed to have excuses. I call BS.

Rex sucks. period. As for Cousin's development...that can be done from a coaches position. Rex should not be taking up a spot on this team. He was a has been when he got here and still is a has been. What makes it worse is he now is in a system that does not suit him. Rex is a simple Pro style QB and definitely should not be in a college spread style offense.

Were you watching the game? His protection was terrible as the 2nd team line got abused. Rex hung in there and made some nice passes, and flat out had a drop. He threw one or two that he shouldn't have....to me that's a typical Rex performance. I actually thought he played decent. I think Rex could go 20 /25 and 300 yards and the fans will still bitch about him.
