This shit is not good news. The safety position could potentially be nuclear sized disaster. Soooooo its Rambo and Pugh, or Wilson? Rambo needs to have extra effing practice at Tackling. Its incredible he does seem to have that fundamental skill. I think you must keep Amerson and D Hall on the outside, they've been locked down the last 3-4 games. Shanny better not put Hall back there, strongly against that move.

This is comforting to remember: Madieu Williams started 16 games for this team last year. We blew past nuclear a while ago.

Re: Redskins vs Broncos Pre Game Thread

Well, after thinking of Manning versus our defense all week, i've been in a down mood. And then I just remembered that he has Eric Decker, Demaryius Thomas and Wes Welker to throw to, as well as a decent TE. Oh, and the broncos also have Moreno, who has 8 rushing TD's this year.

*Goes to get revolver

Well if you go into it like me not expecting a Win then u won't be so down if we lose. Although I REALLY like our chances

I just hope we play man on these guys. If we play zone we have no chance. I'm more worried about their TE than anyone else. I would honestly sit Fletcher this game and put in Barnett.

Re: Redskins vs Broncos Pre Game Thread

Jaws thinks Jordan Reed could be another Aaron Hernandez type of TE. Minus all the, you know, murder charges.

And other thoughts about Sunday's matchup.

Yeah he also said freeman was a great passer and Kaep may be the goat. He's a clown

Disagree with him about Kaep. Think his analysis of Freeman is spot on though

Re: Redskins vs Broncos Pre Game Thread

A few 3 and outs by PM at least 2 turnovers. Offense must move the ball efficiently td's instead of fg's. Solid special teams(not the usual Cleveland steamer ) and the skins win 2 in a row.

Re: Redskins vs Broncos Pre Game Thread

The Skins defense should disregard the run entirely. Play 5 or 6 DB's at all times and go after PM relentlessly on every down. Invite them to run more than they usually do and, if they take the bait, they'll slow down their own scoring machine.

We should run the ball a lot, too. Limit the number of possessions the Broncos get, try to keep it close and be the last team to have the ball.

Who cares how many rushing yards they get if we win?

Is it easy to go after the qb relentlessly and play 6 db's at the same time?

Probably not unless a DB blitzes.

My concept is to use our speed rushers as much as possible in this game and for the inside LB's to play less, even if we give up a lot of rushing yards.

I think that Orakpo, Kerrigan, Jackson, Tapp, and B. Jenkins could conceivably be on the field at the same time with Cofield and 5 DB's. Not on every down, of course, but I'd like to see Haslett give the Broncos something to worry about - namely PM staying upright.
