Weren't ready for that mighty Jags attack eh? lol

They were dead last against the pass last year and pretty much have the same personnel this year. Luck could have a huge night.

They did not look ready for a pop warner team, but I hear you. I hope they get lit up tonite.

Through the first two games, Dallas has had the best statistical defense in the division.

To me that means this division is wide open and if Cousins can get hot...

I knew Dallas would be better than expected this year on Defense. One reason only, Marinelli.

ESPN screwed with me. They have Washington giving up 23.5 points per game. That is how much they score. I thought it didn't make sense because no one has scored above 20 yet against them. My mistake, I should have double checked it.

So now Washington has the best defense in the NFL... by a safe margin. Plus they don't play an offense that I would consider elite this year. The skins might have one of the best statistical defenses in the NFL this year.

Re: Skins-Jags Positives and Negatives

Yeah, not too scared of Philly's D. If we are competent and avoid turnovers (pretty big "ifs" given the team's recent past), pretty sure we can move the ball on them.

Unlike the Jags, however, the Eagles O-Line is made up of quality starters. We will not be getting 10 sacks against them. Bringing pressure without losing track of players coming out of the backfield is going to be huge.

I think K. Robinson will have a big impact on the birds game. Last year, the Eagles exploited Fletcher - even with his experience, he just didn't have the speed cover the options presented by their offensive scheme. Robinson, however, does. The question is whether or not he will recognize the play quickly enough to shut down the option.

... and safety play. B. Merriweather coming back should - hopefully - be big. Cannot afford missed tackles on the back end like a soon to be unemployed safety with a cool name has done so far this season.

Todd Collins was a nobody for years before he had that good season for us. This is nothing like that. Lol.

Any word if the MRI showed torn major ligaments?
That is much worse than fracture.

If an MRI has not been done yet, then I wonder why "Chris Russel, among others, reporting Griffin has no fracture, does not need surgery."
If the major ligament in the ankle is torn and he expects to play football again he needs surgery. Otherwise his ankle will be so weak he will be twisting his ankle all the time and he risks more severe injury.
