It didn't look good but it certainly will fuel the fire regarding criticism about RG3's ability to stay healthy. It is sort of a shame because whatever athletic talent he has / had will always be over-shadowed by the fact that he can't stay healthy. It has happened to many players. Either way this is Kirk's show now. I hope that he does well and has gotten over the confidence problem.

We will win more games because of our defense and running game. It's all on griffin and that scares most of us

I think with Cousins, it goes up to 8-8 at best. RG3.. 6-10 at best.

I just don't believe in kirk either. It's sad but I think Mccoy Is better than both right now.

For real, people seem to forget Kirk falling apart last year.

I think the plan should be to keep Kirk until he falls apart and let McCoy finish the season.

Nobody forgets. They're just smart enough to know that most QBs, even the best ones, struggle in their first 20 or so starts and Cousins has only started 9 games. And falling apart to the tune of 10TDs and 9INTs isn't exactly abnormal. RG3 with 30 plus starts under his belt only had 16TDs and 12INTs when he wasn't too busy breaking his own ankle. Hardly night and day. If KC solves the interception problem, like many young QBs do, the rest of his stats put him among the league leaders. He was on pace for over 4000 yards and 32 TDs and his play enabled the Wide Receivers to participate in games.

The problem for KC is he isn't going to be afforded the long rope that Griffin has. Snyder has given that to his BFF. Griffin is a made man. A real NFL franchise would give the coach authority to start which ever qb he wants.

Michigan State QBs are good backups, nothing more, nothing less. Only good Big Ten QBs in the NFL for the past 15-20 years are Brees and Brady.

Re: Robert Griffin III ready to turn career around with Redskins in 2015

From John Keim of ESPN:

"One thought from the multiple NFL people I communicated with over the weekend (scouts, executives, former executives and players) was unanimous: Quarterbacks do not improve their pocket presence and you can't win if they don't have any. And when you’re in your fourth training camp and still struggle in this area? Not good. It’s not going to change and if we’re seeing it – or other football people around the league are seeing it -- you can bank on it that the Redskins see it as well."

"The Redskins were genuinely encouraged by some early signs -- I saw and heard the positives. But it can be difficult to get a good read on pocket presence in practice. You’re in shorts and the rushers pull up. In games, it’s a different speed and flaws are magnified."

Note to front office, never draft a gimmick, spread, read option QB again. We mortgaged the future of a franchise on an athlete at QB, not a QB. Effing Danny Boy and Bruce.

Said this two years ago. This is not something you learn. You either have it or you do not.
