At least he can admit he was immature and lazy. I give Amerson credit, it took getting cut for the light to come on. We all know he had the physically skills but he was obviously not mature enough to handle being a NFL player. It hapens all the time.

Good for Amerson, he earned it. Just like he earned the axe here. Nice that he turned it around.

Sometimes a career reversal is required for a player to become properly motivated to focus on his job, so I'm not very bitter about it. Good for him, the little sonofabitch!

I'm bitter about.I dont know if he has trash talked the skins or not,but 9 times out of 10 a player in his situation talks shit, cant wait for revenge and play his old team, etc.Like it was the old teams fault and not his.
I'm bitter he didnt play like that for us and it was a wasted draft pick

Odell Beckham: Josh Norman “so relevant” because of me | ProFootballTalk

Jeez this guys is really becoming a piece of work:

“It goes back to what I was saying,” Beckham said. “If I wasn’t playing him twice a year, maybe people wouldn’t bring it up as much. But now it’ll be a lot more media attention for him, attention that I don’t really look for, attention that I don’t need. The reason he’s become so relevant is because of me.”

So funny...he says "attention that I don't really look for" but the article next paragraph:

"Beckham also discussed living in Drake’s house and rumors of a romantic fling with Khloe Kardashian while modeling clothes for the magazine, so it seems he’s doing just fine in the attention department."

This guy is turning clown quicker than I thought. And movin in with drake with that blond streak hair? Ha.......hit the fat kardashian cover to his tracks. Verdict: Clown

With any luck he and Kloe will become a thing and, hopefully he becomes part of the show next season.

Re: Around the NFL: Offseason edition 2.0

Yeah exactly. This is the quintessential case of 'needs a change of scenery'.

If he stayed with the Redskins he never would have experienced the shock to the system that got his ass in gear. He would have remained complacent.

Cutting him was the right move for us, it helped continue a culture shift. And for him it helped him, he hit rock bottom, got his mind right, and now is making the most of it. We couldn't have kept him and given him the rock bottom he needed.
