Completely agree. It feels like we are always working from a hole, even pre-Gruden. And it's why we end up up being .500ish or worse for 3 decades. It's hard not to be excited about being 2-0 to start the season, but Ron Zombie and his Staff of the Undead are about to start playing real teams...

Concur. He didn't have his foot down in bounds. He initially drugged his foot when he never had full possession of the ball.
