That is one of my points. This has been allowed to go on way too long but the team is fanning the fire.

Indeed, and the Cowshits are probably hoping it continues.

Doc Walker was on a tirade this afternoon about this. I imagine Pocket listens to the show?? Or Kevin Sheehan?

I missed it but I will try to listen to the podcast. I usually agree with everything Doc Walker says.

They say that the average adult can't handle much more than a grade 8 reading level. Seems like the major newspapers were right in aiming for said level.

what makes me laugh is people around here worrying about " distractions" let me clue you guys in. once they hit the field, all 22 starters will be focused on what their jobs are, and how to execute them. none of those guys will be worried about A.H, or his trade value. excuses like " distractions" are for losers

just curious though, if this trade rumor turns out to be really in the works, do you think, if a trade is not made before sunday, AH will play sunday and risk getting hurt ?

All kinds of rumors swirling right. I've heard they might de-activate him for the game. Who the hell knows.

I know they are supposed to be focused on Dallas right now, but IMO its worth it to turn the attention to trading this jack@ss. I hate Dallas as much as any Skins fan - perhaps more - but I'd rather Shanny not have to deal with losing control over the locker room in the future if this Haynesworth issue draws on too long.

Trade him for what you can and cut Danny-boy's loses.

I just hope talks between Tenn. haven't deteriorated.

If they activate him and plays, he would give minimal effort like he did against the cards, that's what Shanahan is afraid off.

I would bet you are probably right. They have no incentive to play him. His 3-4 technique is pretty poor and its clear every attempt by Shanny to motivate him only makes him lazier so why activate someone who may not even play at 50% of his capability in a position he plays sloppily.

The only reason to play him would be to let him know that a solid performance Sunday may make it easier to use as trade bait, but if he plays well, fans will clamor to keep him (so its a bit of a double edged sword).

Who cares about, who leaked it. It could have been anybody in the FO or Shanny and his staff. They handled the situation terribly to begin with. You don't drag it out and cause drama. They should have shipped his ass off way back in May/June and ended it then, but they let him come back and did that conditioning test crap and extended the drama. To me, yeah I think AH is a bigtime asshole, but they egged him on. In short, it was a big waste of time and a major distraction for a team trying to rebuild and learn new systems. To be honest, I am not so sure Shanny and co. are the cool customers we were led to believe they were. Ego wars are not only very disrupting, but also very unprofessional with regards to both parties involved. IN short Allen should have put the kabosh on the situation way back then.
