Now PFT is saying he didn't run a 40, contrary to reports out of New Orleans

Re: Around the NFL: 2012 Off-Season-Free Agency/Trades
this means nothing considering how he played with NE/Minnesota/Tennessee his last year in the league and declined big time. Don't get all caught up in the measurables; Can he still play is the question you should be asking, which the answer is no.

Can't believe people are buying into Moss, again.

I don't know weather to respect him or criticize him. I mean the guy runs one route.

Re: Around the NFL: 2012 Off-Season-Free Agency/Trades
he's still one of the best ever, despite his issues, and he could definitely help us in the red zone with some size and hands. if its him at 2-3mill on a one year deal vs vjax at 10-12per... well, i'd take the chance on moss, and if he acts up, just cut him.

Re: Around the NFL: 2012 Off-Season-Free Agency/Trades
If Belichick had enough of him and couldn't control him any more, he doesn't belong on any NFL roster.
Belichick has had the ability to take most of the league's washups and malcontents and make them behave and extend their careers. The two he's failed at recently: Moss, worked initially but not long term Haynesworth

Re: Around the NFL: 2012 Off-Season-Free Agency/Trades
Tough to disagree with most of the list. I'd remove Colston, possibly Jarrett Johnson and now that Carlos Rogers has found a pair of hands, he's a solid all-around CB. He could always cover. I would not be opposed to bringing him back if at a reasonable price.
The rest...yeah, no real shockers why they're on the list. Gaither is ancient, those QBs are horrible, Cedric Benson is a ticking time bomb, Manningham is nothing special.

Re: Around the NFL: 2012 Off-Season-Free Agency/Trades
If London Fletcher and the Redskins don't come to terms by the 13th of March, then what? Who would the Redskins have in mind to replace him? Fletcher will receive some offers around the NFL I'm sure. Besides veterans playing ILB, the most prominent name I can think of to replace Fletcher on our defense would be Bart Scott. Unless Fletcher's pending replacement is already on the roster, I'm not sure how effective a draft pick would be. I heard that the Dallas Cowboys plan to part ways with Keith Brooking, but Brooking is not as good as Fletcher or Scott in playing inside linebacker.

Re: Around the NFL: 2012 Off-Season-Free Agency/Trades
While Stephen Tulloch isn't bad, wouldn't you prefer Bruce Allen to go after someone who has played in the 3-4 scheme before? Even if it's a collegiate player like Donta Hightower, who in my opinion is the most complete linebacker entering the draft this year. Tulloch would be another McIntosh, a nice linebacker but one who just isn't fit for what Haslett wants.
