Re: Redskins agree to trade for No.2 overall pick in 2012 Draft
Aren't most top 5 players going to bad teams? Thus the reason they are picking first? Kind of a moot point.

Re: Redskins agree to trade for No.2 overall pick in 2012 Draft
Worked out for Eli and the Giants. You have to have an elite QB in this league. Are you saying you'd rather have 3 more picks and a mediocre QB? How has that worked out the last 20 years?! My logic is UNDENIABLE!!!

The Giants gave up alot for Eli, that worked out pretty well. Hey, we gotta see how RGIII turns out. If he's a true franchise, Pro Bowl QB, then it was worth it. |

Re: Redskins agree to trade for No.2 overall pick in 2012 Draft
Three first round picks is an awful lot. It leaves somewhat of a void. But the Redskins can still build a team around RG3. This let's us know that for the next few off seasons the Redskins will be major players in free agency to be able to make up for those 1st round draft picks. At least we get our QB. But in a way, this puts tons and tons of pressure on Griffin III to perform well from day one. But I know he'll do his best because of what the Redskins gave up to get him.

Wes Johnson on Twitter This is how I am going to choose to look at it. I'm so excited; in the same way as when you buy a really expensive item. You want it, you need it, but you know you payed too much. HTTR |

Darnell Dockett has been talking a lot of shit on Twitter. Lots. I hope we play the Cards this year. God I can't wait. I hate that dude now.

The Cardinals haven't even been a relevant threat since 2008. They have their own problems. Dockett obviously hasn't heard of that whole glass house metaphor.

Re: Redskins agree to trade for No.2 overall pick in 2012 Draft
We must sign Vincent Jackson this year and add a first round talent free agent in 2013 and 2014. It's likely will have the cap room to continue to add quality players. I hate losing this year's second more than the other firsts.
