I had to trun the volume down on my TV a few times when the skins fans started going off. I may have a blown speaker and the neighbors may have called the cops.

Re: Giants at Redskins Post Game Thread

I have to agree with an earlier post, I think a lot of what we think look ridiculous, and seem gadgety, are thrown in there to really mess with the pass rush. You gotta admit, those ends not only looked confused but would attack aggressively a lot of times on plays that weren't even happening. I can't count how many times the ends curled back to the running back or flanked out wide just to have Griff blow past them or turn with the ball and make a pass over the middle.

His plays may seem like gimmicks or mistakes at sometimes, but we just clowned some of the best pass rush in the NFL, to the point were they were not just physically exhausted, but mentally too. I loved when the Camera would be on JPP, Osi or Tuck, and they just looked dumbfounded like they had no idea how to stop or read whatever the hell it was that the Redskins where doing. Made me smile quite a lot.

That wishbone pitch to Moss followed by the WR screen made me wonder what the eff was Kyle Shanahan trying to do? You not going to run those plays on the Giants defense with success. Maybe the WR screen if it's set up properly with the right play calls. But that was a wasted drive.

Huh? Pay attention to the games kiddo, RG3 got smashed several times. Who cares whether he's holding the ball at that moment the slams are still going to take their toll.

To put it in reverse, Manning was sacked but otherwise hardly got touched.

Looking forward the Seattle schedule really worries me. They could be 10-6 a whole lot easier than we can, they have Arizona buffalo San Fran and the rams and all but buffalo are home games...

49ers and rams aren't going to be cakewalks, and the cards have already beaten them. we'll see how it shakes out

Re: Giants at Redskins Post Game Thread

I will say this. This was not the most memorable game but I have a hard time remembering a more satisfying victory. Even now I'm in some sort of this weird combination of emotions that I can only describe as pissed off happy. Every time I think about the Giants ownership my blood boils.

I have great respect for their players and their front office people but the stunt John Mara pulled this past offseason was enough for me to consider the Giants a bigger rival then the Cowboys. I mean it' one thing to get into a rivalry based on tradition but it's another thing where an opposing owner of a division rival is deliberately trying to sabotage your team. And it's not like we don't know from his statements at the owners meeting that his real goal was to stop the Redskins from acquiring RG3, but instead he settled for the cap penalties.

Based off the fact Mara pulled that stunt and foiled our plans to pick up a Safety and CB that would probably have saved the back end of our defense just so the Skins wouldn't over night get better then his beloved Giants should have had his position and title taken away from him by the NFL.

Mara had too much conflict of interest in our punishment to be smack dab in the middle of handing it out. I really hope the Judge ends up siding with the NFLPA and gives our 18 mill in CAP space back and finds some form of punishment to the league.... and or give Dallas and the Redskins extra draft picks on top of everything for how the NFL Owners ganged up on our two teams.

Still on an emotional high, from the win, and three straight over NFC east foes, amazing. But anyhow agree with all of these points, and just really despise the Giants organization. As amazing as this from 3-6 to 6-6 run has been, how much better would this team have been without taking the huge $36M cap hit, spread over two years. Further how is it not a conflict of interest for an owner of rival in the same division to have say on levying a huge penalty against 2 of the 3 teams in the division?

Also, getting huge kick out of Dan Snyder, being quoted as saying, "I hate those motherf***ers". Have to admit in full agreement with Snyder on that one.
