An impressive amount of effort went into that. I thought the AP slap down of Ponder was the best.

Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style

This is the year of the Rookie QB's and we have 2 good ones. Just think McNabb said RGIiI could not play in Shanny's system . I guess he was just hating cause he stunk the joint up. Thank You McNabb for sucking with us and now we have a Beast at QB in RGIii.

Right now the redskins are the hottest team in the NFL along with Seattle. Who would have thought those two teams would be good like they r? Well I did predict Seattle to win the west but still..

I'd have to add Broncos to that list with I think 9 in a row now.

If we both win out Seattle comes to Fedex.

Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style

Fun Fact for you all:

Only two teams in the NFL have swept their rival conference (NFC vs AFC)

Atlanta (4-0 vs AFC West)
San Fran (4-0 vs AFC East)

And what do you know, they both are the two top seeds in the NFC playoff race right now!

Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style

Actually at this point Saints winning does nothing for us, we need to win both of these next two to take the division. Now if the Saints win, then Dallas wins in Fedex, and the Giants win out, then the Giants would be the Division champs.

We could very conceivably have the following 3 week schedule:
@Eagles
Dallas @ FedEx
NYG @ FedEx

That would honestly be a sweet way to end the season(not worrying about how far they could go) if that were to be the way it played out.

Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style

The only thing we can hope the saints do, is bring back their "defensive philosophy from 2009-2011 which was helping them win games" against the cowboys, making some of their players shockingly injured.

PK MMQB column..lots of Skins praise. Enjoy it, it doesn't happen too often.

Hes a great qb - not very good - great as in hall of fame great. Last nite wasnt his best game, but hes having an mvp caliber season no doubt. Look at his stats on the year. I personally would give it to peterson than manning than him. However i dont think putting him in the conversation entails nut slobbering. Lol.

You had a few chirping about his performance last night as if it was MVP worthy. It wasn't. Not even close. I understand he's a HoF QB, but lets call a spade a spade.

I wouldn't put AD over Manning simply for the fact that the Vikings will most likely miss the playoffs. MVPs are generally not given to guys who miss the playoffs. Can you name me one MVP in the NFL that's won the award and missed the playoffs.

Manning will get it because 1) he was out a year and still beasting 2) He has a better record 3) His has the numbers to back it (better than Tom's)
