I read that article the other day and I couldn't agree more. If Garcon plays the Redskins will win regardless.....

Re: Redskins News & Notes Chapter 6

The big bodied CBs for Seattle had most of our guys flustered that day, and yes Pierre was one by the end of the second quarter if I remember correctly.

Hopefully at least 2 of the 3 guys we drafted this year can turn into that opposing force in the backfield for us.

The Redskins annouced their training camp practices and for those of you with more knowledge of this than me, please answer this question. What's the difference between a "Walkthrough" and a "Practice"?

A walkthrough typically means no pads and no contact. They just wear helmets and walk or lightly jog through the motions of the plays.

So its a choreographed verison of the classroom I guess. Learn a few plays then go out on the field and figure out exactly where this route makes its cuts what the timing is on this route. Probably benefits WR/TE more than anyone I guess. Not linemen so much.

I don't know about DL, but with a zone blocking scheme I would think the walkthru's would be helpful in establishing zone boundaries and responsibilities. I don't know that, just kinda thinking it.

It might be different in the pros but I do not remember offensive linemen taking walkthroughs very seriously. Basically just a review of what you should already know.

DVR alert.. Redskins 2012 Yearbook on ESPN2 at 8:30.. For once they don't have to make a 4-12 team look like a Super Bowl contender, lol.
