I dont buy it. I think our D as a whole is a good run stopper. I dont think Polumbus could stop a puppy with a bazooka. |

Sorry about the negativity surrounding our o-line, but Compton and Polumbus dont make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Re: 34th Overall Pick
I think my preference would be to trade back a couple spots with a team looking to move up for a QB.

Re: 34th Overall Pick
my 3 choices
1. DEMARCUS LAWRENCE, DE, BOISE ST. 2. JASON VERRETT, CB, T.C.U. 3. CYRUS KOUANDJIO, OT, ALABAMA Thoughts?

Lawerence is small for a DE, and slow for an OLB Verrett could be a good one, but probably would not play much next year...lets see what Crawford, and Minnifield can do before drafting a CB high Kouandjio is slow, and has health issues FWIW.... Morgan Moses has been invited to attend the draft, does this mean he could go in the first round ? |

Verrett would be a great one. If he's on the board and Allen passes, there will be blood. Dude is an elite talent, probably the most talented DB in the draft. And why wouldn't he play much next year? He's miles above Porter. Here we go again with the characterizations that in no way tell the whole story. Kouandijo's top end speed may not be there, but that's not the most important type of speed for an O-lineman. He's quick off the snap, and uses his athleticism beautifully in both run and pass blocking. His mobility is superb. And Kouandijo's health issues are non-existent. Dr. James Andrews says no issues with Cyrus Kouandjio's knee - CBSSports.com |

I like Crawford but eventually we'll need another corner anyway. Good insights though

Re: 34th Overall Pick
To me Minnifield is just a body at this point. Crawford I like a lot, but we do need another CB.

Re: 34th Overall Pick
Let's hope that Crawford comes back from his injury ready to kick butt and take names.
This is not a knock, just a comment, but Verrett doesn't fit the NFL trend of favoring bigger corners. I wonder what this will mean for him. Again, I'm not knocking his talent. As for Kouandjio, IMO we get more bang for our #34 buck if we choose Amaro or trade down.

However failing a handful of teams physicals he feels radioactive. Granted all this might be a moot point if the following rumor comes to fruition: Report: Dolphins targeting Cyrus Kouandjio in the first round | ProFootballTalk On another note it seems like the team really likes Cameron Fleming (OT Stanford).
