And CJ Mosley apparently. This makes our dysfunction seem like nothing IMO. It should be fun to watch.

I'm sports bored. Off seasons feel like an eternity. But also don't want to wish summer away either. I need some medical football replacement drugs.

NBA sucks so I watch some NHL here and there. I stay busy with football though even in the O/S

Since I moved from Southern California to Virginia 8 years ago I have no problem wishing summer away. It rains more in summer than the other seasons with thunderstorms that sound like bombs going off. On top of that the high humidity even makes temps in the low 80's seem nasty. I won't even mention all the biting insects that thrive in the summer.

I have no idea what Adam Gase has done up to this point to be given that much power in the NFL.

A young head coach with a poor record just got handed the keys to a franchise?

It's Chip Kelly all over again.

Also, and this is based purely on speculation, but it doesn't seem like his players or co-workers generally like the guy. Comes off as a dick when interviewed. I think he'll be gone in 2-3 years, MAX.

More like Chip Kelly and Josh McDaniels all over again.

In other news, Patrick Peterson is being suspended 6 games for PEDs.

wow!!!! That really hurts for the Cards

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...son-six-games/

silver lining: Peterson will be eligible for offseason and preseason practices and games, and his regular-season suspension will end after the team’s sixth game. He’ll be eligible to return to play on October 20, against the Giants

Just in time to grab a couple Ints from Eli! stat pad game ala D Hall vs Cutler!

Somewhere, Grant Paulsen, Chris Russell, and the Junkies are wishing this was happening with the Redskins:

Also, the NY press is going to have their hands full with the Giants and Jets this season.

I’m sure they looked at every angle to try to tie it into the Skins

Adam Gase looking pretty bad here and being a beat writer for the team, this is going to make for interesting interviews. Ive heard Gase is a good xo's guy and bright, but I dont think he is a head coach without Peyton Manning.

"Along the way, Gase seized an opportunity to gain control with a savvy play in the strangest sort of passive-aggressive power struggle that included petulance, back-door bad-mouthing and obliviousness."

One thing I dont understand...can anyone name the last impact skill player for the Jets? Lev'on Bell should make that offense legit and take a ton of pressure off Darnold. Why is Gase bitching about him?
