I also hear Josh Rosen sucks, why else would a losing team that traded up for him give up on him, when his cap is still low after only 10 months this screams to me "bad hire" I don't buy this he would be a top choice stuff. If he was, people would easily give up a high first, especially considering he's a starting nfl qb. Something doesn't add up. Tired of adopting other teams problems and also paying for it financially. I could be wrong and hope I am if the skins get Rosen, but put me in the skeptical as a starter camp.

Because the team gave up on the Head Coach that drafted him.

I watched lots of UCLA games and I was never impressed with him. He only won half his starts and seem to make mistakes at the worst possible time. He didn't have many signature wins, but he put up video game numbers against the weaker opponents. Sound familiar? On the other hand it is reported that the Patriots are interested in him and we all know that organization is among the best at evaluating talent. I would definitely trust the Patriot's opinion of Rosen over mine.

Rosen does not suck, he had a horrible cast around him last yr. Is he an Elite QB in the making? Nobody can say yes or no to that but to say he sucks is absurd.

The Giants let Collins walk, so does he suck too?

Collins wasn't going to play for rookie contract money, different scenario than Rosen.

But why would they keep Rosen on the bench? Might as well deal him

My thinking is if the Cards felt comfortable with him as their long term prospect, their approach would be to trade down and use the draft haul to build the roster.

And after getting hammered behind that line last season, he might be shell-shocked already and I'm not sure we have the right coaching staff to rebuild him.

Maybe they will trade the pick away, who knows.

Or maybe they see Murray as a slam dunk once in a decade type of player. Doesn't mean Rosen is garbage or still can't be a quality player elsewhere.

Also forgot to mention if we trade for Rosen and Gruden gets canned at the end of the year, we're in the same position the Cards are: Either we force Rosen on a new coaching staff that will have to reset him, or the new coaching staff wants to bring in his guy meaning we'd have to sell on Rosen to the highest bidder.

Either way if not Rosen we know they'll make a move, desperation is a stinky cologne and this entire FO stinks right now.

When was the last time a QB drafted in the top 10 in the prior year was traded away? I am curious if this has ever happened before....and for a lesser value?

This is where the logic comes from.
Quality QB's appreciate in value, bad ones decline.
I don't know if he sucks or not...all I know is a team is giving up on a QB after a single season, not usually a good indicator that they are amazingly impressed....especially if there isn't a single team willing to pay even a first for a top 10 pick PLUS a year of NFL starting experience.

There is something definately wrong here. I just don't know what it is, and no one else does either, except the Cards.

Of course, the Skins could get lucky .....We have been waiting for that day for a long time for QB (except RG3 rookie). I think we did get lucky in the last 2 drafts with DL though.....perhaps it happens again?

I could see Jay being pissed, and I don't blame him. Bruce is a joke, as is Dan.

My gut feeling is Rosen is traded to NY. I don't see the skins offering the 15 pick for him, and maybe not even 46. We have glaring needs at Edge and OL. I think Keenum is the insurance policy for a year, then a Will Grier will take over the reigns. Just my thoughts
