Hey guys I know I've been off for a while now, didn't even had time to come for our annual week match up to do some feedback, but I had to take some time with the news I read today.

My prayers are with Taylor and his family I know the scenario doesn't look good but he's one of the toughest individuals I've ever seen, if someone can pull it off he can, I will be coming back to see any development. it's really a sad news to a great individual.

Thanks - I'm sure I join the Warpath community when I say your concern is welcome here.

This thing goes beyond being a fan.

I have seen numerous posts from Cowboy fans wishing ST the best. Out of curiousity, I hit an Eagles board. It was below worthless. The majority of posters wished him a crippling injury "couldn't happen to a nicer guy" was one post. Death wishes were many and in no way the exception. I was tempted to post but I figured - why bother.

To our opponents who wish this young man and young father well - thanks. To the rest, may karma come and bite you on the ass.

And, of course, to ST, his family and particular his child - my prayers and thoughts.

Eagles fans are the lowest form of humanity on the face of the planet.

Just horrible. Thoughts and prayers out to Sean Taylor and his family. Clinton Portis said it best. Football doesn't matter. This is a father, this is a son, this is a friend fighting for his life. Nothing else should be said at this point.

I totally agree with this Rob football doesn't matter and the people who take it so seriously to make bad comments during this crucial moments should get their heads examine, I can't ask them to get a life because they clearly don't.

I was reading an eagles board too. Quite a few made jokes and think this is funny. They are saying shit like..." has he died yet"?This is all a big fucking joke to those classless fucks.

Hopefully, D'Boyz was responding to the news that he is out of surgery.

I went and tried to get on some Eagles sites after you post and it is truly incredible. I am speechless. I guess I shouldn't be surprised since I have seen similar ignorant statements on WashingtonPost.com and even TripleX Radio. I am shocked by the level of discussion. I simply cannot understand wishing death on another human being, or saying "they got what was coming to them." Do these people know Sean Taylor? Have they seen an interview with him? I am continually appalled by Eagles fans, their treatment of their own team, their venom and ignorance to opposing players, and now even their flip statements about the life or death of another person. I am floored. I know some decent Eagles fans (two actually) but clearly the majority of these individuals are truly worthless individuals. What is it about that city?

Re: Sean Taylor Shot in the Thigh: CNN News

the problem is a the severed artery is huge.
The amount of blood loss from that would be tremendous.
The fact that he survived surgury is almost a miracle....so lets not think about football.
Right now we should be concerned that the oxygen flow from blood continued long enough so there was no irreperable damage.

This is a very dangerous situation....even after surgury.
Please....dont mention him playing again until we know he will live.
Please pray for Sean and his family...

There is power in prayer.

Re: Sean Taylor Shot in the Thigh: CNN News

I find myself fighting back tears every time I start to post on this thread. When I think of how much this team loves this guy, how much he's matured, how bright his star was shining on the field this year, the fact that he's 24 years old and is a new father, and how much adversity this team has been through this season... When I think of his infant child and all of our Redskins huddled around in prayer... Come on Sean. Fight.

Re: Sean Taylor Shot in the Thigh: CNN News

I can't imagine a worse situation. A young father who turned his life around gets shot in his home in the middle of the night and has one of the most important body parts severed!!!! severed. I hope the doctors brought their A game, because that will be the deciding factor in Taylors life. How terrible.

In Ashburn, Va., Redskins owner Dan Snyder said he was headed to Miami on his private plane, joined by running back Clinton Portis, vice president of football operations Vinny Cerrato and trainer Bubba Tyer.
