we looked plenty good under spurrier, and even the first few weeks, then all down hill. We need to work kinks out now. we are going to have a hard time come week one anyways becuase we arent running our normal plays

anyone have any info on cooley for me, i didnt see the begining?

It's annoying how these announcers keep referring back to Riggins, like that's the only back Gibbs had success with.

Not only did Gibbs win 3 SB's with 3 different QB's, but with 3 different RB's as well.

He also had non-power backs in his stable like Ricky Ervins, Joe Washington and Kelvin Bryant. He knows how to use backs, he doesn't need "The Diesel" to make his offense work.

Exactly Matty, Riggins was there for only 4 out of Gibbs' 12 years and his 4th year he pretty much ceded to George Rogers

That shows you how ignorant most of the announcers are of Gibbs. They just piggieback on what the next station says. 3 bowls, 3 QBs.

Thats why I hope Joe THeismen announcess a lot for us, he understand Gibbs better then Aikmen ever could

Gibb's isn't taking any chance on Portis getting hurt in the preseason. Portis has to have the lowest carries for a starting back.
