3rd and 13 and give up a first down?

At least they have tape to focus on the rest of the year.

What a joke.

Re: Redskins vs Ravens Gameday thread

Things we learned tonight:
-Bench Daniels and have Orakpo put his hand in the dirt every play. Having him play SAM backer is asinine and neutralizing his talents.

-Jim Zorn told the guys it was two hand touch tonight, they're still figuring this one out.

-Fred Davis... let's get you to the equipment room for some stickem. You catch fine.... but hold on to the damn thing.

-Jarmon may be an excellent excellent pick.

-We got absolutely embarrassed tonight in vanilla 1v1 matchups. Im sure we'll have plenty of people telling us how the score doesnt matter in pre season. Which is absolutely true, but we got beat 1v1 all freaking night. I will say this, the Ravens Oline was holding like hell all night, it didnt get called much early, but they were obvious calls.

-Why is Theissman allowed in front of a microphone anymore? He is awful. I actually watched the game on mute for a while to get rid of him.

I kind of agree. Or at least let them split time. I don't like Orakpo playing SAM. And I'm sorry but Wynn needs to go ASAP. He just isn't athletic enough to play in the NFL anymore.

Also the play before the end of the half was awful and it looked like that was on Doherty.

I didn't see whether he shook hands at mid-field with the Raisins HC!

Zorn should be pissed. Any true fan is right now. Thank goodness for this game. They know they need to start busting their asses.

He keeps on talking about staying medium but everytime I've seen him on the sidelines since the steelers games he's seemed to be anything but pleasant.

Tryon was a huge bust in my opinon. That guy really is horrible - he go burned on the same exact play twice. No excuse for that.

Zorn really really needs to evaluate himself after tonight. Yes it is only one preseason game but, like someone said earlier they were not ready to play tonight. To me that all on zorn.

Re: Redskins vs Ravens Gameday thread

really crappy performance all around. didnt even get to attempt a field goal to atleast try out one of the kickers. jarmon, dixon the dt, and orakpo all looked pretty good on the dline. kelly made a good catch, but other than that nothing really positive outside of the fact that no one major got injured.
