Lions fan here,, and I have to let out a big LOL at all the Skins fans scared of Detroit right now.

You guys realize we have never won at Washington, right? Never as in never, EVER. You will not be going 0-3.

Welcome!

I'm with what OkieSkins (that's what I'm calling him now) said. Coupled with the fact we have no offense, this game could be closer than you expect.

Re: Skins vs Packers post game thread

We have the talent to win, sure, and on paper we should, but our entire CS has their heads up their collective butts when it comes to offensive playcallling. We have a QB with a monster arm and the best WR in the league, yet last Sunday it was all dink-and-dunk. We SHOULD light up your secondary like Independence Day but I don't think our OC will have the balls to call those kind of plays. Just put one safety deep on Calvin and all of a sudden it is nothing but two yard runs and five yard slant routes to Pettidrop.

Bush could make a big difference if he's 100%, though. I am just not feeling that great after losing to Carson Palmer.

The problem on defense is Haslett, he has talent on defense to be top 12. This guy has been getting a pass for the last couple of years, the man cannot adjust. His job is to teach how to tackle and fire up his D.

The Giants are 0-2. Where are all the god damn articles asking if Eli should be benched? I mean for ****s sake.

Also, another fun fact about our defense.

Chris Russell ‏@Russellmania980

The guys @PFF have the #Redskins missing 16 tackles vs. #Packers. Last week? 14. Thought it couldn't get any worse. That's a total of 30.

And RG3 isn't a two time Super Bowl champion that has proven to be as clutch as they come.

RG3 was pretty clutch last year though... At least last year if we were behind, I trusted him to lead a comeback 9 times out of 10.

So far this year, not so much but maybe this fiasco will be worked out by Sunday.

I sure hope so. I'm going with Monday night was the opener, first game back and all the hype. GB was, well GB, especially coming off a loss, and the first game at their newly expanded stadium. This Sunday however we will be back home at 1pm. Hopefully he gets his footing early and we can actually score some points in the first half. We know there's no way we shut down Detroit's offense so we need to stay on top of them. If we don't score a td, on offense, in the first quarter, it's gonna be a loooong game.

Re: Skins vs Packers post game thread

I'd feel better if we could arrange a return of Matt Millen to Detroit before the game.....

Well, guess who our current GM is? Millen's former right hand man.

I'd trade William Clay Ford for Dan Snyder, and I just threw up in my mouth a little as I typed that.
