It's probably Little Danny. My guess is Kirk's jersey doesn't sell like a 1st round draft pick or high priced free agent. He probably feels he can't get a return on his investment. Or, he doesn't like Kirk because he won't hang out with him at the night clubs...

This is what i've said on the Cousins thing since the very beginning:

It's Snyder. It's been Snyder from day one. You guys can all believe that the team has turned the page and our FO works differently now, but it's the same old shit. It's a shame that a proud franchise like this is being held hostage by our completely inept owner. I have said it from the beginning, Snyder at the end of the day only cares about ticket sales and getting money. We will be the only team in NFL history to let their starting QB go after having 2 consecutive seasons with over 4,000 passing yards. That's a fact, not an alternative fact, a real one.

Snyder has hated Cousins from day one because Cousins is a constant reminder of how Dan Snyder's personal pet project RG3 flamed out in the NFL. He is also a reminder of the superbowl winning coach that told Snyder flat out that you can't win with RG3 in the NFL, and who Snyder fired.

The redskins will draft another top QB so that Snyder can have his jersey sales again, but make no mistake, it will be someone that Snyder hand picks - Coaches and GM's be damned.

Bruce Allen love him or hate him is a big reason why our cap space is what it is today. Also, I work in the government sector every contract we have ALWAYS comes down to the last possible day before something signed, its the general of contracts.

It's odd that SS put it at 45%. I mean by all accounts, Scot, Jay and Bruce want him back So unless Eric Schaffer is screaming bloody murder about the contract I would have thought that number would be a lot higher.

That said, At most we have 3 1/2 weeks until the Franchise deadline of March 1st. And 4 weeks till the choruses of either WE PAID TOO MUCH or WE SHOULDA SIGNED HIM begin

With SS putting the odds on signing Kirk at 45%, I'm about ready to step out on the ledge with Snake. The only way those odds could be under 50% when Scot, Bruce, and Jay support Kirk is if Dan Snyder is not on board.

Was it Mike Shanahan who said that the only position Dan Snyder cares about is QB? It's our bad luck that Snyder doesn't know jack about evaluating QB's but still thinks he should decide who our QB will be, or not be.

This. SS is a credible source. If he is saying 45%, then get ready for 5-11 next year with Colt. Moreover, I do remember the quote about Dan only wanting input on the QB position. Maybe that's why Kirk has been all over social media, sport talk 980, and now fox and friend to help market himself for Dan to buy in.. If only Jack Kent Cook would have left the organization to John!!
