One of the funniest people that ever lived. If you ever watch the NFL Films 30 minute recap of Super Bowl XVII, I swear the PA announcer or the voice over that NFL Films used to re-create the PA announcer sounds exactly like Ted Knight. "Riggins the ball carrier". Crazy.

44Dive, here's an idea: Donate some coin and name yourself whatever the hell you want. Butt Hurt comes to mind...

BTW, others, like myself have been on here for at least 3 years and we're still "rookies." It all is based on your post count. Eh, why am I wasting my time explaining this?

Everyone knows that rookies here are "camp scrubs" If he prefers we can change it to something along the lines of "camp baby"

We're all adults here. And everyone's opinion here is valued so long as there's strong thought behind it. Furthermore, go to some other sites if you want to know what true lack of respect is. Sure we tease and taunt here, but we keep it civil. And when it crosses the line it's dealt with accordingly. But don't confuse disagreement with lack of respect.

And yeah I know it's sort of out of line to say all this in public. We should just PM him (the front office should I mean). But I suspect it would fall on deaf ears. And quite frankly, with the season starting we'd rather not waste our time holding people's hands and babysitting. On behalf of the mods, I'll just say that we're tired of it. It's about the quality of the members on this site, not the quantity. Plus, it's good for everyone else to hear this, because I'm sure there are other 44Dives lurking in the horizon.
I agree that he had ample amount of time to respond in that thread. After looking at his history that is what I came up with as my conclusion. I agree with everything that you are saying, I have been a member here for 3 years going on 4 and I agree that the quality of the members have dropped. But that will happen as the quantity goes up you get the bad with the good. I didn't mean to step on anyones toes when I posted that. I wasn't sticking up for him and I thought that would have been known when I put the word "she" in bold and larger font...

I agree that their are a lot of members that post random crap such as, "Brunell sucks" and that's it. They don't bother to put any thought or a valid explanation with "Brunell sucks." And not only are the mods fed up with such crap, I am sure that their are a fair amount of members that have been here as long as me or even longer that are just as much fed up with it as the mods are. And I am willing to bet that their are a few newer members that feel the same way...

Agreed. That has got to be one of the funniest posts I've read on here. "Camp Scrub", you would think he was one of those basketball players going after Imus. Sorry if it hurts anyone's feelings, but you always have to mess with the rookies.

I think if the Skins put up lousy numbers like that across the board they'll lose.

I am with you for all except the bold parts. Mainly because I think if either or both happen it will be very hard to win. Perhaps that is me going with my heart instead of my brain.

Tripp, I know you put a lot of thought into your posts but do you really think RB gets a 100 behind that o-line? Calling them patchwork is a compliment. Also... Keep in mind that if we can get up early it's going to be really hard for them to stick to pounding away on the ground.

Otherwise, I wouldn't be all that shocked to see Campbell get picked, but I hope not more than once. I'd also expect to see more receiving yards out of Portis on check downs and releases.

One thing I'm going to be very interested in seeing is how we handle a lead, ass-uming we get one early. I expect us to get really conservative and milk Portis and Betts for all their worth but I would like to see us stay aggressive and balanced.

I agree. If they have a back going for over a hundred yards, why would Green be passing so much to get three picks?

Technically this isn't a "blog," it's a forum. I can't believe no one pointed that out yet.

Personally, I am offended that anyone would claim that the valued members of this forum are anything BUT gentlemen. All one has to do is browse the SHFT and it's obvious that this is a classy, high-brow group.
