Like I said, how to teams like the Pats, Jacksonville, Indy, get things done with or without injuries and the Skins can't?
I don't see how you can say it's a crutch. It's an obvious problem for us, and it's unrealistic to expect our offense to come out looking like New England or Indy when we're playing back ups to back ups on our offensive line. It all starts in the trenches, and if we're not getting the push up front, it's going to be hard to move the ball on the ground or in the air.

You can't tell me our injuries would not have an affect on our offense. And out of all of those teams, how many of them are playing with one starter on their offensive line?

That's as much of an 'easy way out' as you claim playcalling is.
You want to throw a quick slant with 9 in the box?? Good luck finding a passing lane.

I missed that then. I understand why they are too. It's just allowing the Cards more and more chances. Like we're daring them to beat us.

We need to get some pressure on Warner or he will march down the field.

there is such a thing as an offensive philosophy. And for better or worse, ours is to pound it.

If I were Gregg Williams, Gibbs would be getting the silent treatment all week.

Okay.

This isn't worth arguing over. I'm just saying that the Redskins have a consistency problem, injuries be damned.

I don't know why people are attacking me like I said the Redskins should be the new Pats or anything. It's not like I expect them to come out and score 30+ points every game. I'm just saying they shouldn't be afraid to take shots sometimes and when they DO, to actually be consistent. And that injuries should have no affect on that.

I digress.

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread

I do not believe everyone is stupid on this board, call a spade a spade.

The playcalling sucks right now, and there are no excuses. We are playing to hold onto the lead, not trying to put the game out of reach. It is just a terrible mentality this team has had for the last several seasons.

Also our defense can't always play this pussy coverage.
