Re: Are you buying into the Shanaplan?
The defense is able to get the job done. Our secondary has played better during the 5 game winning streak. Yes, because of the season ending injuries to Carriker and Orakpo the sack totals are down this year. But what Haslett has been able to do is adjust to the level of personnel that he has and he's called some great games lately and has placed the defensive players into positions to make plays and they have done that. We need to get over not having Orakpo and Carriker. Cofield had sack last week and the defense HAS been getting pressure on opposing quarterbacks. That may not produce sacks, but the pressure applied has been just as effective as sacks.......

I am beginningi to, but need to see it play out another year. We finally seem to be in the right direction. I guess I am still alittle cynical after years and years of inepitude.

For all we know, Jim Haslett might get the Redskins head coaching job once Mike Shanahan leaves Washington.

He's on a short list of those ready for that job this year.
I mean, I think it would be cool if he stuck here another year, but it's probably not realistic. I'm happy that discussions are ongoing to try to keep him.

Re: Are you buying into the Shanaplan?
I mentioned Haslett because he's been a head coach before. If Kyle Shanahan moves on and Mike steps down, Bruce Allen would indeed promote Haslett to HC.....people forget that Jim Haslett was the NFL coach of the year in 2000.

Re: Are you buying into the Shanaplan?
The Eagles scared me yesterday more then any of the teams that are going to make the playoffs. Nothing worse then playing a team that does have some talent, at home, with their coach coaching their last home game with nothing to loose.
