Re: Around the League...Training Camp Style!

I know Cousins is not a starter so trade him now before he starts throwing picks again. It's the equivalent to getting a 2nd rounder for Grossman.

Wonder who the hell Palmer was throwing to? Reminds me of that INT in the Steelers/Cowboys Super Bowl game when Neil O'Donnell just tossed it to Larry Brown with nobody near by.

Jason Campbell on the field baby! I think he threw two pick 6's last week. Lets see if he can top that.

Re: Around the League...Training Camp Style!

Yea let's trade a QB who has looked the best in preseason and be left with a QB who had the worst QBR last year and has looked just as bad this preseason.

Nice catch John Brown, he just "raided" the Bengal secondary.

KC was 0-3 last year, and pretty poorly rated as well. If we used his good preseason along with Bradford's injury to garner a 2nd next year that seems like a no brainer. This franchise is going to go as far as Griffin takes them, for good or bad. Having KC do well in the preseaon presents us with a possible opportunity. Having KC on the roster during the season gives us a mediocre backup to whatever griffin turns into, and possibly yet another Skins qb controversy(yeah we love them) and/or challenge for a first year coach who got Andy Dalton to the playoffs multiple years.

KC is not the answer. mccoy isn't really any worse than him, so if you can get a 2nd, take it (because it's clearly above his actual value). otherwise, you keep him.

It's funny how Big Ben and Sam Bradford are the QBs who stay hurt the most. They are pocket Qbs.

Big Ben gets nicked up but he usually stays on the field. Bradford is made of glass apparently.

I wouldn't call Big Ben a pocket QB. He's not a running QB, but he is pretty mobile and makes a lot of play outside the pocket.

Ballsy sending your 5 x all-pro guard (07,10,11,12,13) off in a trade. Can't be good for Tom Brady.

Re: Around the League...Training Camp Style!

I don't understand this trade for the Pats. A TE and an undisclosed draft pick? They supposedly had contract disputed and he was hating playing for the Pats but still doesn't make sense to me.

I guess it depends on the draft pick.
