Re: The coordinators
Yeah McVay wants him, but let's see what Phillips wants. I at least want Washington to interview him first.

Re: The coordinators
Sean was a good OC, I bet Jay takes over playcalling now

Re: The coordinators
I really hope not. A head coach should head coach, a general manager should general manage, and an offensive coordinator should call plays. Of course the HC has a toe in every decision, but y'all get my drift.

Re: The coordinators
And what Jay wants. There's still no indication that Jay intends to interview Phillips.

Pettine or bust? I still don't mind Bradley but I'm sold on Pettine more.

I would be happy with either Bradley or Pettine. I still view Bradley as the most likely. Just so many ties to the organization. Wade should be the top candidate though, by any measure. If you're going to interview 7 or 8 coaches, Wade Phillips better damn well be one of them or I have major questions.

So does Jay promote Callahan to OC for continuity?

Re: The coordinators
I still wonder if that's what Callahan wants. For all we know he might like being the o-line coach. Remember he left Dallas, as the o-line coach, to come here and be the o-line coach, for a young first time o-coordinator in McVay no less. Why do that if you want to rise up the ranks again? Ever since his downfall as HC of the Raiders he really seems to have found his niche as being an excellent o-line coach.
