Terrible puns aside, Doctson is the next AJ Green. I'm very excited for him.

Also Junior Galette is the next Junior Galette.

Lmao. Feels like ive been waiting on Galette to be Galette for half of my life.
And Chico you have to understand that Jerry not only tapped the phones but he has been hiding in the microwave in the team cafeteria throughout most of this offseason. SAD!

If we are not happy with the new election result and instead we are SAD! I will repeal and replace him immediately and feel GLAD!

Doctson will be a tremendous receiver, tremendous. Ask anybody, they'll tell you. Believe me, nobody will be a better receiver than Doctson

Heard Pryor on NFL radio today, impressive guy. You can tell he's hungry to keep improving and be the best player he possibly can be. Definitely a guy that enjoys the grind.

More on what was said earlier about him hooking up with Kirk...

Terrelle Pryor, Kirk Cousins and teammates make plans to begin training together

Sounds like Cravens is giving up the number 36 to Swearinger

@Sua_Cravens: As our fallen solider once did, it's time for me to do the same. Time to make my own way! #36 is in good hands. #HTTR #30omMe #ripSeanT

Re: Redskins Free Agent Signings

Seems like remaining good DTs:
- Dontari Poe - 26yrs - "Market Value": $12million/yr -- probably too expensive?
- Johnathan Hankins - 24yrs - "Market Value": $8-9million/yr
- Roy Miller - 29yrs - ? value

Numbers above are complete guesses, and the longer they don't sign somewhere the more the market value numbers may go down.. Hoping we get one of these or another proven option before the draft..

I think your guesses are very high. Neither Poe or Hankins had great years.

FWIW Rich Tandler has Phillip Taylor listed as a starter in his current depth chart.
Phillip Taylor, DT for the Washington Redskins at NFL.com

Man if Phil Taylor is healthy.....Id still take Hankins, Poe over Ricky jean, Ziggy Hood, etc.

Pryor could be the steal of free agency.

Re: Redskins Free Agent Signings

Im a little surprised we have heard little movement on the ILB possibilities. Zach Brown, Gerald Hodges, Kevin Minter, Hightower, Manti Teo, Brandon Spikes, etc...all these guys available I believe.

I look at Wil Compton and see a lot of disappointment from last season where he flat out cannot make plays.

I think that position in general is fairly overvalued, and the free agents you mention are probably having trouble coming to grips with the low offers they are getting from around the league.

Hightower deserves some coin, because he can be a 3 down guy and cover well. But if you need to come off the field often in passing situations, you just don't deserve a big payday.

That's not to say that the guys you list wouldn't help us - they would. But if they think they're getting a lot on the open market they will be disappointed. Not when teams can find athletic ILBs in the 3rd round.

It's just the nature of football now. The nickel corner is a much more valued position than ILB. Same with hybrid LB/S.
