He might have a good attitude, but can he play the position and win.

You could say the same about any player coming out of any draft ever. It’s an absolute crap shoot. There are sure things who pan out and who do not. There are reaches who wind up as franchise guys, and reaches who do not.

Where do you see that Willis "works his ass off"? Much of what I heard about him is that he does not spend much time watching film but instead relies on his arm. From what I heard he wound up at Liberty because of his lack of study habits nd mental game preparation.

Links?
I have seen nothing saying anything about him having poor study habits.

Search "After tantalizing at Liberty, Malik Willis taking national stage at Senior Bowl" article from 2/4 on nfl site. He had issues with it at Auburn, but that was when he was 18-19. Didn't come with him to Liberty. Lots of good stuff said about him in the article from his time there.

I like Willis .. I don’t like Watson with all the stuff going on .. If all the allegations are BS then move on .. where there is smoke .. Watson on this team is a PR nightmare .

SF and OK,
Who is the best QB in this draft?
Pick your guy (Just one!) and we can look back 10 years from now to see who got it right.

For the record, I wanted Tom Brady but no one would listen.

Re: 2022 veteran QB options

Give me the guy who is most coachable/worked hard, mature, preferably ran a pro style offense with more than 1 read throws, accuracy rate percentage high +10 yard down field, and won.

I think the two most overrated things is arm strength and athleticism

What you want is TH, we all ready have that guy and he isn't winning us shit.

You still need a athletic strong arm guy with the other stuff you described.

He didn’t win…you have to show results.

I don't see anything in there about study habits.

I want a guy who has the athleticism and tools to succeed in the NFL, and also knows that ain't shit unless he knows the playbook and defenses as hard as he practices. Everybody in the NFL is athletically talented, the great qb's know the defense you're in practically as soon as you line up. Knowing the playbook and studying opposing D's in the film room is where the game is won.

This is why Willis will be overdrafted. He's going to win at his pro day and combine workuts. But can he win on 3rd down in the NFL?
