Re: Skinsfaninok's Available NFL QBs Poll
He's gotta lead the #1 passing attack the league and win the Super Bowl like...this season.

I can see the headlines now. John Beck becomes first QB to win 2 Super Bowls in 1 season - ESPN Thats because Steve Spurrier transcends existence. He has no need to learn of crotches and cranberries.

Report: McNabb refused to wear a wristband with plays | ProFootballTalk
The second part of the story: [quote] ""So they're having this power lunch, power dinner at the Super Bowl with Fletcher Smith (McNabb's agent), Bruce Allen, Mike Shanahan and Dan Snyder. At some point, this topic comes up," he said. "At that point, when Snyder heard that, Snyder apparently went ballistic and said, 'Are you effing kidding me?' Why did I hire you as the head coach? I'm paying you $7 million a year to be the head coach, and you can't get your guy to wear a wristband? Are you serious? If he's on the team next year, you're making him wear the wristband," he said. Bishop said Shanahan and Snyder then began arguing, and Smith and Allen "didn't know what to do." Again, take this for what you will, but the whole thing is so Redskins if you think about it. I don't believe it, and Snyder better hope the rest of the fan base doesn't believe it because if Danny boy starts trying to take things back to the way they were in 08 and 09 he will have hell to pay.

Re: Skinsfaninok's Available NFL QBs Poll
LMFAO that anyone thinks VY is worth 2 shats, and ROFLMAO at people who think he's our solution. I didn't want McNabb for many reasons, but McNabb in his old age is still 8 times better then VY both as a player and as a leader. In comparison "character" is everything.
If given a choice I'll take my chances with a second year McNabb knowing more of the plays over VY any day. |

Re: Skinsfaninok's Available NFL QBs Poll
I'm staying out of this discussion because my opinion of the Junkies is basically the equivalent of what many people here think of Snyder. And I know the Junkies and have worked with them.
However, I have heard from multiple people similar McNabb stories (I will say sometimes he strikes me as kind of "Darrell Green"-ish; enough people here know what I'm talking about)

According to a insider, he says the bit about Snyder is indeed false. He did however have this to say about McNabb. Maybe Smoot could verify this. (edit: seems he was posting as I wrote this) Quote:

D. Green was stubborn? I've never heard that he was any sort of problem. Everything I've heard was positive and that he would do whatever asked. |

Re: Skinsfaninok's Available NFL QBs Poll
I might be totally wrong on this, but isn't the guy a asshole? Not really a fan friendly type of player from some of the stories I heard. (ie...refuse to sign autograph, etc..)

Re: Skinsfaninok's Available NFL QBs Poll
He was usually one of the first out on the field and last to leave. Always greeting the fans after practice, always signing autographs. However toward the end of his career I think it came up that fans were taking the items he was signing and selling them on the Internet. I think D. Green got miffed that people were making a profit off of his signature and yeah I think he stopped signing autographs for adults.
