He did, T.O may have been a crybaby but he brought it every single game.. He has way too much pride not to.

He didn't do it like CJ81 OR Randy Moss but he surely was one of the best to ever play IMO

Shame to see what's happening, potentially, with Peyton Manning's career. I know Irsay was hoping he could play one more year and retire at least on his own terms. But that's looking, unfortunately, like less and less of a possibility

At this point seems like best case he sits out a year, and maybe tries to come back next year.

I don't know, he's already sat out one full year, do you think another year will make a difference?

Unlike Favre, once Peyton says he's done, he's really going to be done. More and more reports indicate it will be sooner rather than later, which is a shame but things like nerve damage/regeneration can't be rehabbed past what the body will do on it's own.

I'm not dead but this team is dead to me...but now that McCloughan is here they may have new life!

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

With his condition you just don't know. The nerve could regenerate next week, next month, or next year, or it might never come back. Let's say hypothetically his doctors give him the green light in 6 months. You would have to think he would consider coming back next year.

That said though, I don't see him retiring right away. Might as well wait through the spring and summer to see how he recovers...if he recover

Hutson beat people with speed not size or leaping ability.

The "Alley Oop" maneuver was "invented" by YA Tittle and RC Owens of the SF 49ers back in the mid-50s. Owens also blocked a long field goal attempt once by standing under the crossbar and jumping up to block the ball as it was about to sneak across the bar.

I was thinking that, too. Because it would make sense for someone to stand right in front of the goal post on those really long 55, 57 yard attempts that just barely make it through the bottom crossbar. Someone with enough height could probably block it.
