Have to speak up on this post, the notion respect, respectful comments or anything to do with respect is really at issue here doesn't pass the smell test for a nanosecond. For years I've been shit on, called the foulest of names and whatnot, but without reciprocating with any of that filth. If anything the handful of mental midgets who engaged in that crap (all on my ignore list now) were encouraged to keep going. And for what? Basically because I held an unpopular opinion about the coaches, that turned out to be true lol. Now almost everyone says/knows almost exactly what I have for years.

I'm not defending the dudes opinions about Snyder btw, but there's a principe at work far more important.

I think you get crapped on because you're pretty one trick pony. Just like ole Brody. Just because Shanny has gone rogue doesn't mean the incessant parroting of the "Shanahan is awful" narrative was the right way to go...or even accurate. The proverbial PR tides have turned on MS because of his dip-shittery in the last several weeks more than anything.

Goat, you're kidding yourself if you think you were respectful of other people's opinions for the majority of the past couple years. Or that the issues people had with you were because of your anti-Shanahan stance. Did you see people getting into it with Slingin' Sammy 33, who had the same stance? But whatever

I'm asking this question because I'm so tired of seeing Jim Haslett looking so confused on the sideline/coaches box. I'd love to see whoever comes in as the Head Coach next year hire someone like Winston Moss with a good pedigree in coaching the 3-4. He currently holds the title Assistant Head Coach / Inside Linebackers Coach. Would this hypothetically block us from interviewing him? Or at least require us to give him the same AHC title along with Defensive Coordinator?

My preference for next year would be:
HC: Darrell Bevell
OC: Chris Ault
DC: Winston Mossh

Thanks in advance.
Arrangements can usually be made, but yeah that's often why coaches are given titles like Assistant HC, to make it harder for them to leave

So, getting back into the meat and potatoes of the search for the next head coach, looks like Jim Schwartz is probably going to get fired in Detroit. Would you take a look at him for the head coaching position, or would you rush to hire him as your defensive coordinator? Or choice C, none of the above?

That's because most of the time you're an a-hole. Haven't you said you take pride in that? Even in this response you can't help but call people mental midgets.

Merry Christmas, everybody.

I truly hope Mike & Kyle Shanahan and Jim Haslett get shiny new jobs this Christmas.

While on the topic of posters we love to hate, the Pirate BBQ guy was entertaining though, you have to admit.

Re: Choose Your 2014 Redskins Head Coach (Volume 2)

From Mike Jones Q&A:

I suspect the Shanahans will not be back next season, so who is the most likely candidate for head coach?

We touched a little on this last week, and it's still hard to say because no one knows what Snyder is thinking, or what he and Bruce Allen will want in a coach. Will they try to go after the biggest name available? Jon Gruden has said he plans to go back to Monday Night Football another year (although that doesn't necessarily mean anything). Bill Cowher doesn't sound like he has plans to come out of retirement. Tony Dungy has said he'd never coach for Snyder. Lovie Smith? Or, should/will they try to find the next great coach and pursue an up-and-coming coordinator? Two names that would seem like smart candidate choices are Seattle offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell and San Francisco offensive coordinator Greg Roman. Both have had success with young, mobile quarterbacks, which would be good for Griffin. Both run offenses that are based on the rushing attack, which would be good for Alfred Morris. Both spread the ball around to multiple weapons. Both are in their early 40s. You wouldn't think either would come in and demand full control, and that could pave the way for this team to finally hire a real general manager. Bruce Allen essentially could take over as team president, and a GM would handle the personnel decisions.

Watch the Football life on Marty and you can see why he fired him. He rode Darrell Green hard and Synder wasn't having it. Damn if he stayed what would have been, prob no championships but would have been built and had talent.

Over rated blowhard notorious for great season records and shitty playoff records, way too conservative and he would probably hire his son as OC. No thanks.
