no but theyre really nitpicking. and chicos right what do you expect a dude with his speed to do, the one play bleacher shows that he took off, a defender barely missed him. then on the "4 second" sack play which I counted about 3. something Jordan didn't get out of his dig fast enough browns 1st string secondary top 5 in league imo.

I hope he starts. I love to watch him go through those growing pains or pains he may never grow into a starting NFL QB.

We could do a lot worse than Polumbus. I'd much rather get Chester outta there first.

no push for Morris really from the OL either. How far away are our rookies because it was same story as last year, only this year Griffin has his wheels back and can get out of there. Now instead of getting blasted and criticized, he avoids it but gets criticized hes gonna end his career by not sliding. catch 22 for Robert griffin the 3rd.

Solid nothing spectacular. Overall an upgrade though with Kory a better fit at center.

I thought he played fine.

Not too concerned about the goal stance, thought we got in on 4th. We ran 3 vanilla runs in a row, don't expect the same during the season in the same situation. Plus Cleveland has respectable beef along the front dline unlike the giants, cowgurls and eagles.

In one of Judy Battista's latest NFL.com articles about the Browns, she mentions how Hoyer was sacked by Ryan Kerrigan, "one of the league's best pass rushers." I just thought it was cool he was getting some love like that on the national level. Of course, maybe Miss Judy was just trying to earn points with Kerrigan.

I wonder if Clev is regretting taking that fool and perhaps thinking they should have drafted Bridgewater. Forget that he's a dick for now, he doesn't look like he can actually play at the NFL level. There were easy routine throws last night that he just couldn't make. That would be my concern more than his shitty tiresome act.

It's obvious that he's been getting advice from Donovan "Wormball" McNabb.

Re: Gameday Thread: Browns vs. Redskins

Redskins safety Ryan Clark appeared on Mike & Mike Tuesday morning and claimed to know (what prompted Johnny Manziel to flip off the Skins bench).

"I can tell you what the statement was that set him off. The statement was … This isn't college any more and these people are faster than you are," Clark said. "He didn't like it. That was me cleaning up the statement but that's pretty close to what it was."

I think Manziel would be better served staying in the pocket and using his athleticism Aaron Rodgers style. RG probably should too, instead of crossing the LOS so much, but at least he has the speed to beat defenders to the edge and then outrun them. I think Manziel is probably a little better than RG at shaking a defender one-on-one, but he just doesn't have RG's elite speed.

I think Manziel has the physical tools to succeed in the NFL, but if he doesn't mature really fast and start playing smart, he's gonna get killed in this league. He's not a big dog or the best athlete on the field anymore... he's probably just a little brat to most of these guys.
