Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
3 years $10M for Paul? Feels steep to me. I'm concerned our TEs don't have enough strength in the run blocking department.

Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
From a alert I got from ESPN, the deal could reach 10 mil, it is not a 10 mil dollar contract without Paul hitting some career milestones. Sounds like it is a good deal and if the player reaches thouse incentives then we have gotten alot out of him and he is worth it.

Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
I guess 3 yr. $10MM is OK for Paul; however, I don't see why we need to rush to sign a backup and ST player.
I read that Wisniewski is only looking for $3MM per year and he could start for us at either C or G. Keep that in mind as we re-sign "our own".

Would we look at trading Alfmo? or is Alfmo the change of pace back, a more 1 cut, power runner?

Is Anthony Fasano a good blocking TE? I would look at him.

Why can't we have both?

Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
Maybe Forsett will be our new Helu. Twice in his career Forsett has caught more than 40 balls.

Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
Rather have Helu back then. Especially at the price difference. I'd rather see us draft another guy in the mid rounds then go after Forsett or another big-name back.

Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
We can but I would think Alfmo trade value would be at its highest with his low contract number and decent production. Im an Alfmo fan for sure.

Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
And how does it make sense to trade Morris? Just because we sign one guy doesn't mean we trade away another from the same position.

Glad Paul is back. Good insurance policy.

Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
I'm fine with Paul coming back. But I think they probably need to get a more traditional TE that can block, and one that has better receiving skills than Paulsen.

Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
We gotta keep Morris! Would hate to see him go somewhere else! That said, I'm glad Niles Paul is coming back. I've kind of had a love/hate relationship with his play, but he kept improving as the season went on, and took some nasty hits and held onto the ball. I think he really came into his own last year. The big question is, what's going to happen with Jordan Reed?
