At this point we are way past the draft pick investment talk. That is sunken cost. Griffin gets 3-4 weeks to start the season.
Thats something that drives me bollocks too! Some fans are more committed to the name on the back of the jersey instead of the front, sometimes.

Someone is telling Gruden to start Griffin but I don't think it's Snyder.

No, to be crystal clear, Snyder is just the one who is telling the one who is telling Gruden to start Griffin to tell Gruden to start Griffin.

This is Snyder's call. That's not to say McCloughan isn't also on board with this, I suspect he may not have been hired if he wasn't. But Snyder, I know, said on multiple occasions last year that RG3 has to be the starter if healthy. I've been told that directly from people would know that. And going into this summer I've heard the same indirectly from people.

Pretty much if gruden cannot develop rg3 both are gone. Is that pretty much the deal with McC? I guess is rg3 went down and Kirk could somehow be gruden saving grace if he would could get them close to the playoffs.

I hate it, but I think there's less than a 5% chance RG3 returns in 2016. As for Gruden, I think he returns for 2016. Beyond that? Guess it depends if he can show he can win a QB that isn't RG3

What make u think rg3 can develop into a pocket passer? U seem pretty adamant that this is still a possibility. So was gruden the wrong coach to make this happen or is it the complete failure of Sean mcvay.

It's amazing to me how unnoticed Sean mcvay is to fans. We give grief to gruden and rg3...but mcvay is giving some sort of pass. Unbelievable IMO.

Jay Gruden is a lame duck coach. He's fucked and he probably knows it(we do at least). Hey, at least he walks away with a shit ton of cash from those extra 3 years remaining on his contract.

As long as Scott is on board that's all I care about. It would be hard to believe he would have signed on otherwise.

I believe Scott was on board with it when he was hired, but now after watching VY2 in practice and in these first 2 preseason games and seeing he doesnt look any different,I suspect now he is no longer on board but has put himself in the position of having to stay on board and go down with the ship.We will see how it pans out.

The problem is if you keep Griffin in there, and he's still struggles, the players start bitching and Gruden will lose the locker room. We have emotional wr's as it is. This almost happened to Gibbs back in 87 with Doug and Jay.

Still have to remember it's pre season. But on some plays it looked like the same old Griffin.

So you're saying DS purchased out of date peanuts, expressly for the purpose of:
A) Poison the fanbase?
B) Insult Jimmy carter (come on, let's see what you got)?
C) Saving a few bucks on a classically good Mr. Peanut deal?
D) he dun F...d up?
WTF.....I would have thought they have a half-life of like 200 years

It's not your job to know the shelf life of peanuts but it is the responsibility of an organization that plans to sell them to the public.

More to the point, you asked me if I thought some of these things were dramatized or made up. I said no, they are facts. And they are. Stop being so naive; you can look this stuff up if you want to.

Do you remember when Snyder and Vinnie pulled a guy out of retirement who hadn't been an NFL OC for five years (Sherm Lewis) and who had been calling Bingo games in Green Bay and forced poor Jim Zorn to let him call the plays? Some of the stuff Snyder has either instigated or approved is so wacky you can't make it up.

I don't know why Snyder does the things he does, but I say once again, based on his track record of seemingly wanting to control everything and everybody, that I would have no trouble believing that he is demanding that RGIII start.
