I think we are better off overall with Doctson Pryor Reed Davis and Crowder than we were with Pierre DeSean Reed Davis and Crowder. It might take some time to get there though, we'll need Cousins to get on the same page with them quickly.
You spelled McCoy wrong lol.

It's definitely a tough business.

Re: Redskins Free Agents List

Guys, I just watched all the Browns' offensive possessions of 2 games from last year...

I'm telling you, we are gonna LOVE Terrelle Pryor !!!

I watched week 1 @ Philadelphia with RG3 at QB and week 3 @ Miami with Cody Kessler at QB, so not against great defenses but in both games he made some incredible tough catches.
Against the Dolphins he was switching positions back and forth, played maybe 1/3 of the snaps at QB and still had 8 catches for 144 yards, including a really tough one in traffic in OT.
Really sure handed, great catching abilities, he also seem to have a knack for open space, finding yards after the catch. He might not be as tough as PG when it comes to hitting a defender after the catch, but he's gonna be a great replacement.

And remember, we was playing for the BROWNS without a proper QB! Can you imagine what he'll be able to do with Kirk Cousins at QB, behind our OL, with the receiving corps we have??!!

Pryor could really blow up in this offense, no doubt

I think the biggest thing that nobody's talking about is the difference we're going to notice in the willingness to block in the run game. We never ran to DJax's side of the field because he made no bones about being unwilling to block.

PG always did, credit him for that. But Pryor was a good and willing blocker for Cleveland. Crowder will mix it up, and Doctson was good with it at TCU.

I think we're going to be much better at punching the ball in the end zone. We definitely won't get deep quite like we did with DJax but it figures to be a more consistent offense.

Agreed. Forgot to talk about it but he does seem to be a decent and willing run blocker, saw him hold a little bit here and there but at least that shows he's trying his best!

Love it and agree completely. Hoping we finally average more than 1 yard per carry, and that we have some semblance of a red-zone running game.
Many things can help run game - (1) WR blocking, (2) WR blocking, (3) TE blocking - ?Sprinkle, (4) Gruden calling more runs as playcaller, (5) Perine? (6) Cousins being more comfortable calling run vs pass / audibling out of bad plays.

Can't wait for August to see what we have..

I foresee a problem with point number 4. Gruden is pass-happy.

true, but even the Great Joe Gibbs was once a pass happy youngster & he learned to rely on the ground game.

Couldn't agree more. If Sprinkle makes the team we have a TE, RB, and Receivers who can block. One of the best RT's in the game and a RG who's a road grader. Perrine should be able to wear down the defense and Thompson can do his thing even better. This should be one hell of an offense and the defense should make leaps and bounds over last year. Looking forward to it.
